@@J0lker I have had no issues with it at all. It was plug and play and easy to hook up. The only issue was neatly tucking away the extra wire and the metal heat sink things. I'm heading back home today so I will take some pics If you like to show you how I have mine all tucked away. I have not had any issues with mine at all and it does compliment the bike very well. What does it do when you hit the button or use the fob. Does the starter turn but it just doesn't start? Does nothing happen at all? Do any lights come on? Make sure it is in park and your foot is on the brake pedal. Outside of those things which you may have already tried, I'm not sure.

I am living this now...AND was surprised to learn that the "recall repair" was done on my 2012 Grand Cherokee back in 2015.. I had NO IDEA... after visiting this site not only did they offer a solution for those that haven't had the recall done...but they offered a solution for those that HAVE had the recall done and are experiencing the problem again...AND they had GREAT info on how to visually verify if the recall repair had already been done..so you know if the dealer is shooting straight. not sure if you still check your KZfaq account, but my '12 Crew Max has been having this same issue for a few weeks, it finally broke down around the corner where I live near the neighbors property. They kept an eye on it until i ran home to research the issue. Came across this video, and the damn procedure worked! Thanks for that!. My question is, what is the premise of priming the engine and will this procedure work every time, if/when the truck breaks down? or did I just get lucky? It restarted with no problems 3 times since I got it home today. strange. I do plan on calling Dodge on Monday to see what they say (or what they are going to try to get out of) the truck has almost 90k on it, and has been bulletproof up until this issue this month

Glad it worked for you. We recently had our TIPM module replaced/repaired by Dodge at no charge. We have had no further issues. When u take it in to get fixed they may try to charge u. My wife raised holy hell about that. They finally fixed it for free and gave us a loaner car for the 2 days it took to fix. It is part of a recall so it is on them to fix not you. Other than that ours has been bulletproof!

Well I got my car back yesterday. They were able to replicate the issue. They flashed the software, check for key fob issues and cleared codes. There after, same problem. So they said it wasn't and software, electrical, anti-theft(key fob) issue. They replace the fuel pump relay, and they think they found the problem. It has been starting normal since we've had it for the day and a half. They did say if there's any issues to bring it back to them and they'd "take a look at it for no further charges" I am wondering if the fuel relay issue is part of the TIPM module you had replanced/repaired by Dodge, at no cost(awesome for you guys!) We ended up paying about $225.00 for the repair, the part was like $30 but if the truck is back to normal, I guess we're OK with that. I am wondering if I should put up a stink with the service department, having how you guys' were able to resolve the issue with no out of pocket expense, or just let it go. sheesh LOL Again thanks for the tip/video and follow up response.

@@rickydelivers The problem is supposedly a bad fuel pump relay in the TIPM due to it not having the adequate current rating. We took in our 2012 Durango a little over a year or so ago for this recall which involved bypassing the fuel pump relay in the TIPM and installing an external fuel pump relay located on passenger side. About 2 months ago we had the same no start issue. Once it starts it works fine. It has never stalled on us while running. Did yours stall on you while it was running? I just replaced the relay again and am keeping track of when this happens again.

This also happens on 2011 Chrysler town and country minivans. It's the fuel pump relay inside the TIPM. The dealerships want $900 plus to install a new T.IPM. when all that's wrong with it is a faulty five dollar switch. I'm fixing my own right now for $30 out-of-pocket. It's likely you have the same problem. Go here for good instructions before you waste your money at the dealerships. - unless you are under warranty of course. verticalvisions.com/TIPM_solutions.php

I have a 2013 R/T so the entire TIPM isn't covered just the fuel pump relay (and a secret bypass wiring harness) and they don't have any or a date stating when they will have some. It does crazy stuff like leave the pump on which runs the battery down and or turns the wipers on whenever it feels.... In the mean time I can usually trick it into starting by using the auto start or the same thing you did although occasionally it starts and dies..

Jamal Starks That's sounds crazy. We eventually just had them come pick ours up and my wife gave them holy hell since we were about to move from Washington to California. We did not want to get stranded. They just replaced the whole fuse box or TIPM box. They wanted us to pay half ($900) but again my wife raised holy hell in the dealership. They fixed it for free and paid for our rental while they fixed it. But it's just a temp fix since they replaced it with a new faulty TIPM. It will go bad again.
