Less music and more narration would be nice.

Would rather hear information about what I am looking at than music I don't like. You may like it but that doesn't mean the rest of society does.

Japanese Dining 101 - Learn the Basic Traditional Table Arrangement | Tableware Names and Functions I lived in Japan for several years on and off since 1967. I was taught by several different Japanese families that the first thing you eat is a one small mouth full of rice out of respect for the primary food source of Japan. This was also true when I stayed at a dozen Buddhist Temples.

Beautiful breakfast! But my favorite part is at 05:17 when the kid says bye bye and then disappears from the frame. Such excellent timing haha, it made me laugh a lot :)

I've seen several anime wherein one of the characters will be cooking something (usually stew or soup) and will spoon some of it into a tiny little bowl to taste. What kind of bowls are those teensy little bowls the characters are using to sample their cooking? Seems way more efficient and less work than using a different spoon every time I want to see how my soup is coming along...

Last time I was in Japan we stayed in Asakusa. I had planned to go here but we didn’t have time. I appears wanted to get my first Japanese knife here but instead I just ended up getting it from William Sonoma. I wonder if it’s more affordable buying it in Japan because we’re limited to Shun and Miyabi brands which we can hold and test.

i'm someone who will 100% confuse the usege of the each plate at least the first 1 to 2 years, and will later do too sometime. The washing process if done by hand will be terrible, if i'm in japan even if i know how to cook i think i will be kicked out from the kitchen if i don't know how to plate the dishes T.T.......

My family and I are initiating to change our diet to mostly Japanese food. We are an international family and so we cook all sorts of dishes. But we always agree that eating at a Japanese table gives us so much pleasure. I am so happy to discover your vlog because it has given me the knowledge on what to buy. Individualism is so celebrated in Japan, even on the eating table. I love the idea that for everyone, the dishes can be different!
