I'm thinking about sizing down from my iPad Air. I just noticed that I never take it anywhere when I take my macbook because of the size. But I'm unsure if it will change my habits

Love your content, Nick! Definitely one of my favorite channels by a mile. I have recently trialed living with a Light Phone 2, and have loved it! Curious if you have given it a try, or are willing it make a video on it! Curious your thoughts, especially now as they have revealed the Light Phone 3. I bet some of your viewers would find a great benefit to it. Thanks for all you do!

I really want to make the switch, I unfortunately think I’d be lost without the Maps app though. We’ll see if my mind changes in the future but I’ve thought about it for a while now
@timschick6708Күн бұрын
@@NicholasGarofola They do have a maps too, I’ll admit its pretty poor if you’re using it as a turn my turn because of the E-Ink screen. The “Directions” tool and the “Directory” tool together are pretty good surprisingly, the “Directory” tool being new. The OLED screen on the LIght Phone 3 will make them even better. Hope you continue to consider!

TLDR: The video lists 5 methods for decluttering your life: Utilize apps: Sell unwanted items through apps like OfferUp, Facebook Marketplace, or Poshmark. Reorganize: This helps you identify unused items and keeps everything in order. Declutter resistance items: Get rid of items that you have to move out of the way to get to other things. Would I buy it again: Ask yourself this question when you are on the fence about decluttering an item. The single bag method: Imagine you can only grab one bag of your most important things. What would you put in it? This helps you to detach from unnecessary items.

We can’t all be Seto Kaiba, so these are great tips for all of us that are not 😊 My current favorite money saving method is the “use it up”. This is especially effective for me with food/groceries. I can’t buy condiments, salsa, or whatever it may be until what I have I completely used up. Once it is used up, I either try and make my own (like salad dressing, tortillas, and snacks) or I can only buy 1 of that item type. I will admit though, if it is a staple item that I cannot make I stock up when it’s on sale, so I’m not totally anti-duplicate. 😅 Good luck out there friends!

Agreee. I need to take this advice because I often get sick of some of the groceries in the house before they’re finished 😅 thanks Yugi

Adding onto the thrifting. Facebook No-buy groups are so helpful for obtaining/giving away items in your zip code. I pretty much always check there first before buying items. Chances are there is someone in the group that has a spare or is getting rid of the item. The best part, it is free.

Buy Noting Project is another great way to get items, not for a low price, but free. I've used them for years to give away items I no longer need and on occasion, asking for things I might need.

It probably is very possible to build an entire wardrobe of high quality clothes using sites like Poshmark, if you are patient and know your size in brands that are consistent. I've bought several essentially brand new Brooks Brothers dress shirts over there, which retail over $100 for like $30 or whatever. I check/update my budget spreadsheet for 10 minutes every morning, which I think is less of a burden and keeps you more on track than only looking every few weeks. It is fun to build a system that works for you and to tweak it over time, at least for some obsessive dorks.

My personal favorite budgeting method is kakeibo which allows me to spend at least 40 percent of my monthly income. So if you´re into keeping lists like me, here's how it works: 1. Write down how much you make every month. 2. Write down how much you want to save. 3. Subtract the amount in no.2 from the amount in no.1 and voilà: What's left is what you can spend this month. Track your spendings every other day. For beginners I`d recommend doing this daily. What might also work as motivation and make saving money more fun is when you have a specific goal, like "I want to have saved 500 Dollars by the end of summer".
@NicholasGarofola4 күн бұрын
I could totally make an entire video on that idea, it's great. Thanks Britta!
