How can they not play the entire song? I get it its long but the best part was cut off.

I hate when Josh says “Let’s go Daniel… 1, 2, 3, 4” to the most talented member in the band. Always been such an egotistical controlling dick. He then proceeds to do what he always did which is be trash live and lose his voice because he can’t and never could scream properly.

I like them. They have a new style of improvising, metal while synthesizing. What a breakthrough!

I saw the video for this in the middle of the night on Headbangers Ball on MTV2 like in early 2003 or something, and went out and bought the album the next day. Unfortunately, by the time I first got to see Underoath live, it was February 2004 at a tiny venue in Memphis and Dallas had already left the band. It was still epic seeing this performed live all the same. I then saw them again in 2004 in Birmingham at a place called the Zydeco for the They’re Only Chasing Safety tour.. never knew this video was filmed in Birmingham until I came across this.

Miss these dudes…. Watched these dudes countless times, but remember one time in particular when the singer played on crutches in providence, RI at the Living Room. It was wild!

I forgot about Norma Jean. I went to a show in Nashville when I was 14, in like 2006 or some shit. I ended up skiping out and roaming downtown with my girlfriend at the time for hours. Only listened to the show for a few minutes from outside. Good night though. I remember enjoying their music and actually wanting to go to the show too, but 14 year old boy me was also trying to get some. lmfao

I am so grateful they persevered through all the obstacles to keep bringing their music to smash our faces in over the years. Easily my favorite artists.

Just stumbled across. This biography is hilarious. London's prestigious School of Hard Knocks. great stuff. Steve has always been a favorite artist of mine. He is one of the most thought provoking lyricists out there. Unfortunately, too many people seem to thrive on superficial, vanilla repetition. I love his poking, witty, satirical style of social commentary. His energy and in your face attitude are wonderful. Yet beneath the satire and fun are deep, poignant waters. There is an earnest appeal in almost all he does for people to wake up. He gets to the meat of a subject but in interesting ways that I really appreciate. The guy is solid. Pretty funny that he often goofs about being confused with Steven Tyler. Funny, but sad. Taylor's body of work is so much more impactful to this world in my opinion. his self deprecating manner is a mystery to me. anyway, thanks Steve for all you have done and your creative, caring spirit. You rock brother!

Not a phone in sight, just people enjoying the moment. The 90's and early 2000's were the peak of American society. I was lucky to grow up in this era ( graduated high school in 2002) but its also so sad to look back now and see how far we've fallen. Cell phones and social media has destroyed our society, and sadly there's no going back
