SO frustrated with myself for getting the last question of the horse races LG Q wrong. I charted it out nearly perfectly, wrote out the possibilities incorrectly with 20 seconds left cuz i was rushing, as time ran out I realized I had selected the wrong answer of the two I had narrowed it down to. Other than that which greatly annoyed me, I felt great!

I took the international test but apparently all sections I got are from the North American test according to this. Confusing

All three scored sections I had was said to be a 0.5, so 1.5 total? What does that mean if I am aiming for a 167?

It was amazing to go into the June test and see all known topics on my RC and felling really confident on both LR sections! I’ve never had issues with LG but the crystal ball helped me prepare and know that I got -0!

This 'crystal ball' seems really inappropriate and unfair. All of the test takers who know the reading comprehension sections ahead of time due to you have a massive unfair advantage against students from poor backgrounds who can't afford to pay for your services. You say you want to help as many people as possible, but that is a blatant lie. The LSAT is a test that scores your performance against other students, so for every student that your insider information helps, there is a multitude of other students whose scores are unfairly lowered due to you.

I read a newer 800 pg biography on Fredrick Douglass only two weeks prior to the test . I was ecstatic 🙌🏾 finished rc with 5 mins to spare

So if I was consistently scoring between 163-165 on my PTs and occasionally as well as 172/173, and my LG adjustment is .5, RC is 1.0 and LR is 0, then essentially, I could miss 8.5 to get a 170? Am I understanding correctly?

Any ideas how the scale works at the upper 170s level? My understanding was the August 2022 exam was 1 wrong = -2 points at the upper end

If I already have an LSAT writing on file in the old format but plan to take the LSAT after August, will I still need to complete the new LSAT writing, or will my existing LSAT writing be sufficient?

I raised my score by 8 points on the November 2023 exam.

I guess I got the new LG sections and good god I thought it was brutal. I scored 7 points lower than my practice test average and I know it was all due to that LG section. Looks like I'll be retesting in August 😭

I cant remember if that globular star cluster one was my hard or easy section !

I got LR RC RC LG and I felt this test for me was way harder then the Nov test was I don’t feel good about it 😢

Funny that you mention the computer virus game when it didn't even move the needle in January 2023. I also felt like my games section (dancers, wings) this test was harder than the games section I got in April 2023 which was given a -1, although I wasn't nearly as sharp and practiced going into this test and that's probably why. does the crystal ball method still apply to the retake tests? my proctor disconnected from my test so I filed a complaint. I am not taking a retake, but I was wondering if the same anticipation applies

How does the scoring work like “if you were at 8 you stay at 8”?

My friend's proctor left for an hour and he didn't know what was going on so he called LSAC and then when the Proctor came back they disqualified him for using his phone.

Totally agree with the rude proctor part. I was passed through 3 proctors and he wouldn’t let me take my 10 minute break despite the screen saying I could. He use the last 3 minutes of my break to fill up my water (how generous) but then wasted 10 minutes of my LR section because he wanted to check literally every angle of my room while the timer was running. Did the same thing halfway through my RC section he stopped me again to check my room, clothing, ceiling, floor, and door. All 3 of them screened differently and kept relying different information and when you ask them for help, they say “sorry I can’t help you they didn’t tell us anything besides______”.

Is there any other detail that’s possible to share about the LG with oversight and finance committees? It was unusual and I would really like to practice any similar games before the November test

One question comes to mind: Will URM status play a role in a school’s scholarship offering or estimated amount given?? The SCOTUS decision mentioned more about admissions itself, but seems unclear about URM as a factor in scholarship consideration *after* being admitted.
