Maybe I'm old school, but I'm not a fan of matt finish on cars and hate some of the industrial looking tan, brown & greys that came out over the past few years. Recently one of my favorite paint color is the deep pearlescent red Mazda uses on the Miata MX-5. Wow.

Its not primer gray it actually has a green shimmer in the sun and is blue gray on overcast days. Its a brilliant color.

Pretty sure Rayno Phantom II has 99% IR rejection so you can't say "best performing film on the market"

There’s a big difference in quality between XPEL and Rayno. A claimed figure of a 1% increase in IR reduction does not constitute a better performing film. The performance is measured in multiple aspects

The wrap film has disadvantages. I live in Phoenix Arizona and if you leave that on too long it can’t easily be removed. It won’t last as long as a good OEM finish. Beware!

PPF is a little different to vinyl in that in the adhesive doesn’t break down and eat into the paint… I do agree that vinyl has that effect however.

I have the same color, SGP, in the US. Only 10 miles on it and waiting to do PPF, but this video may have convinced me to do a similar stealth wrap. It looks amazing in this video and assume it looks better in person. Looks like a job very well done.

Doubt it. That's how professionals tint the cars. I would be more concerned with the internal protection package (not saying it will damage) but not a big fan of liquids on plastic.. Perfect result though.. Would love to have my car PPFed by those guys

Question.... Did you apply glossy PPF on the exposed carbon section of the hood? If so, how did you keep from having a gap between the glossy and matte PPF?

Hi Joe, we absolutely did mate. Ultimate fusion gloss was spliced in on the stripes along with all piano black areas around the car. All matte areas were wrapped in the XPEL STEALTH Matte PPF
