Two upright pipes for stability. If your weight gets off center, you are "headed for a fall". You can see how easy it is to move the platform side to side at 13:30, if you are on it, your feet can go one way and your head another way, liken to jumping on a pogo stick on black ice.

Your so right, was a bit side to side. I'll be fixing it with upright poles on each side of the footstand to guide it. Trial & error. Thanks for the comment and for watching. Hope you subscribed so you don't miss my other madness coming up.

Goid to see a trans man in the space but he is going to really hurt himself with that. This is a very bad idea.

Also i believe 1/2 conduit will fit uder rim of the opening around the cockpit of The kayaks. I have my own designs I eventually want to try but what the heck i don't have the time. The rim of the cockpit on the kayak is the strongest part and both the front tip and back pit of The kayaks are the strongest. Hope this gives you some good options, if you are interested I can send some drawings to help out. Maybe im sticking my nose in where it's not needed you're doing fine I appreciate your video

The frame looks good, but you should have used urethane wheels with bearings, and steel.
@mental-activityАй бұрын
Thanks for viewing and commenting. Did you watch the intire video? The wheels do have bearings, I said the polyurethane is costly and the reason for using wood is it is pretty tough and I had a pile of scrap from a different project. I hope you have time to watch my other videos to see I'm very much a recycler. thanks again for your comment and hope you subscribed so you don't miss the unique projects to come. Dale.

Do you have to get any sort of special permission to bike on the tracks like this? Have some abandoned tracks near me, this would be fun to try!
@mental-activityАй бұрын
I'm new to this ,but, the track you see is ran on with rail speeder clubs that you can join and run with a group, or be sure (NO) trains run on them. Check with cubs in your area and they could tell you more. Thanks for watching and hope you hit that subscribe button so you don't miss the next 3- different style of speeders. Thanks again 😊

Seems like the back wheels are quite precarious because nothing holds them on, might want to add a bar that connects the rear triangle of the bikes but I understand that would complicate the side to side adjustment process and potentially have problems when turning. Great video keep working on the bike!
@mental-activityАй бұрын
Thanks so much for your comment. I thought to put a contacting bar and after testing it, your right, may track better. Thanks for watching and I hope you subscribed so you don't miss the up coming (electric air rail ) and other surprises.

I have to gear it a bit faster, it's turning about 760 rpm .I need to find out max rpm on the fan and gear it to that . it did ok on the kayaks, water has less friction obviously.

I am thinking about the cooling. Also the smallest outboard engines are cooled down by water, here you heat up quite quickly I think, the Stihl grass cutters are not designed to run long time.
