Didn't even know hank von hell was dead until I was reading the comments on this video as I usually listen to turbonegro in the car , rip to the legend !

I saw this band in 1990 or maybe 1991 at a small dive bar in Eugene Oregon there were 6 of them and only one could speak English they had a 45 rpm single (Via con Satan) on Sympathy for the Record Industry they were a far cry from this

I just want to acknowledge that I love that they played and sung the songs pretty much exactly like the studio album versions. It's impressive how accurate they did them.

Great line up, brilliant performance and good video quality! In other words, it is just to bring the whiskey bottle (Irish), open it, get the vid. going (get it on) and enjoy a hour of Norways ever finest live music export. And regarding Hank, his problems with heroin addiction and suicide. South-Eastern Norway, Oslo and heroin goes hand-in-hand, or hand-in-hank, so to speak. Despite topping a lot of "good area" statistics lists, Norway has traditionally had a visible "struggle" with heroin since the 80's and 90's. For example, every city as I know of, has a place for addicts to gather for distribution and buying. And at Oslo, this place was called "Plata" translates to like "The Plate", which was/is right outside Oslo Central Station, Oslo S. Where all kinds of drug related stuff, mainly junkie stuff, was tolerated by the government. IMO, this was quite a dark and realistic reflection of Norwegian society for tourists, but the place has now been moved a couple of quarters north. And for anyone who has heard of Jens Stoltenberg, former PM (also son of former Minister of Defence, Thorvald S.) and now Secretary General of NATO, sister Nini Stoltenberg was probably one of Norways most well known addicts (junkies). And thank you, Hank, for opening my eyes. It is of course a pity that the loss of your life had to be contributing to my own eyeopener, but I am grateful. Only hours before your body was found, I had been to the area, and for all I know, we had met the same guy/organization. It was a strange feeling reading the news of your death, especially the surroundings. But it was all very clear to me, and it made things clearer, regarding my own situation. It became difficult to go there without thinking of the place as "The End of Hank" and that the road to a life as an addict is shorter than one might think. So, to anyone who is flirting, testing, experimenting, etc. with heroin or any substances that is simply threatening for you (and your family), do me, and most importantly yourself, a favor and think twice about your situation. It's never to late to make a clever move. Peace out you mongs!

I saw them on the same year at Sziget festival. I was fucking tired after several days of various concerts and drinking. A friend of mine wanted to see them, I didn’t know the band at the moment and they were playing late in the evening so I thought « ok I will just watch one or two songs and go to take a rest»… The first song blew me, I finally stayed all the concert long and it was definitly one of the best concert from the festival. Since then I fucking love this band and it’s still one of my best remindings. We miss you Hank…

Why o why do they have to sing in English? It's bad enough that i saw them, do I have to understand their idiotic songs too? Sing in your own language, that way I'll have no idea what nonsense they're spewing out.

I know Tony lives and breathes it- only version i saw of these guys live, but this was a truly special lineup and a truly fucking rocking band here. The turbonegro spirit CANT DIE

Never had the chance to see Turbonegro live... I saw Hank von Hell live at a small venue and it was one of the most intense gigs I've ever been to, we even broke the fence in the front. Hank was just amazing, such a great entertainer.

This line up of Turbonegro was just the fucking greatest. To think they could replace Hank, and a drummer as great as Chris Summers is, and was, absolutely preposterous. They should've counted their blessings, and called it a day. Apocalypse Dudes, Scandinavian Leather, Party Animals, and Retox are four of my favorite albums ever, and are all time classics. Hank, I hope you are resting in peace. Much love.🖤☠️🤘😈
