I think it’s the hydraulic valve lifters that makes that sound , you foten get that sound with low oil level / pressure or when they are broken. That’s my guess anyways.

I think that the Cummins oil pressure sensor is just a normal open switch that closes at a fairley low psi . I dont remember exactly how much . The rest is just a manufacturer number from the ecm . I think Mazda does this also . I added a manual gauge to me truck and left the factory sensor in the circuit. Sure enough there are different psi at both gauges .

What camera are you using? My borescope doesn't look like that. Can this sensor leak a lot of oil? The cable coming off the sensor is dripping oil and all wet with oil.

man im hoping this is my problem, similar milage and my pressure is higher but jumps around at when stopping, drops at idle, but comes back up. and is great when under load. fingers crossed this is the fix!!

pretty sure theres a bleed screw on the head, how do you know you don't have air trapped in the system?
