"in other words, the coming of our Lord and the rapture of the church will not come except these conditions." Brother, you just jumped from "the Day of the Lord" ( a day of wrath and fierce anger: Isaiah 13) to the rapture! Paul wrote, " Let no man disceaue you by eny meanes. For, excepte the departynge come first, and that Man of Synne be opened, even the sonne of perdicion." (Coverdale Bible: Old English) Paul's meaning is, don't be deceived! If someone sees the significant departing [the rapture and the restrainer taken out of the way] and then sees the man of sin revealed then they will know The day of the Lord (That day of wrath and fierce anger) has already started and they are IN IT. (This is what they had apparently written to Paul, that they thought they were already IN the day of the Lord.) Brother, always remember, "Shall not come" are ADDED WORDS that distract from Paul's real meaning. They thought they were INSIDE the day of the Lord.

"That day shall not come" that is a definite statement. Sorry Brother, but those are words ADDED by translators. And sadly, many people form their theories on this passage from these ADDED WORDS. It is NOT that they thought the Day of the Lord was "at hand." that is a very bad translation. The Greek behind that is a perfect tense word, showing something finished in the past. The truth of the Greek is that they thought the day had ALREADY COME and they were facing God's wrath. This is the best translation I can find of verse 3: 1535 Coverdale Bible (added words removed) 3 Let no man disceaue you by eny meanes. For, excepte the departynge come first, and that Man of Synne be opened, even the sonne of perdicion.

WHO is the restrainer? Let's look at this passage. The first problem with this passage is that the Greek texts disagree: some say “the day of Christ” while others say “the Day of the Lord.” This is easy to solve. Which of the two terms did Paul use in His first letter? He used the Day of the Lord. I suspect these two terms meant the same thing to Paul, for after all, Christ is Lord. These believers were under severe persecution, and somehow, they had come to believe that this persecution was the Day of the Lord, that they were under the wrath of God. The day of the rapture would simply not fit here. The second problem is that the KJV missed the tense of a Greek word in verse 2. Here is how it should read. AMP 2 Thes. 2:2: not to be quickly unsettled or alarmed either by a [so-called prophetic revelation of a] spirit or a message or a letter [alleged to be] from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has [already] come. (AMP) Then a worse problem: almost every English translation adds words to verse 3 using the false idea that the Day was only "at hand." ("That day shall not come...") This is how verse 3 should be read. 1535 Coverdale Bible (added words removed) Let no man disceaue you by eny meanes. For, excepte the departynge come first, and that Man of Synne be opened, even the sonne of perdicion. It goes without saying that Paul must have expected his readers to know what he meant by the significant departing. If we look in his first letter, the significant departing was the rapture. The rapture or gathering was the theme of this passage. Then in verses 6-8 Paul tells us that there is a power that is holding back or restraining the revealing of the man of sin until the proper time. Of course, God would know that proper time. The point is, the man of sin cannot be revealed UNTIL the power restraining him is “taken out of the way. Yet, read verse 3 carefully with verses 6-8 in mind. Did you notice that in verse 3b the man of sin IS revealed? (Not in reality but in Paul's argument.) Yet, in verses 6-8 he told us that the man of sin could NOT be revealed until the power restraining that revealed was taken out of the way. Therefore, logic tells us that somewhere in verse 3a we MUST Find something being "taken out of the way." The ONLY word I can find that makes any sense is "apostasia" as something “taken out of the way.” Several early translations into English translated this word as the "departing." 1384 Wycliffe N.T. That no man deceyue you in any maner / for no but departynge aweye (or dissencon) schal come firste & the man of synne schall be schewid [shewed] the sone of perdicioune. 1534 Tyndale N.T. Let no ma deceave you by eny meanes for the lorde commeth not excepte ther come a departynge fyrst and that that synfnll man be opened ye sonne of perdicion 1535 Coverdale Bible Let no man disceaue you by eny meanes. For the LORDE commeth not, excepte the departynge come first, and that Man of Synne be opened, even the sonne of perdicion. 1539 Cranmer Great Bible Let no man deceaue you by any meanes, for the Lorde shall not come excepte there come a departinge fyrst, & that that synfull man be opened, the sonne of perdicion. 1549 Matthew's Bible Let no man deceyue you by any meanes, for the Lord commeth not, except there come a departyng first, and that, that sinful man be opened, the sonne of perdicyon 1565 Beza Bible Let no man deceiue you by any meanes: for [that day shall not come,] except there come a departing first, and that man of sinne be disclosed, [euen] the son of perdition. 1575 Geneva Bible Let no man deceiue you by any meanes for that day shal not come, except there come a departing first, and that man of sinne be disclosed, euen the sonne of perdition. They miss it in a small way because the Greek shows a definite article, THE departing. Paul was talking about a specific one. What departing did Paul have in mind? All we need do is look at Paul's theme, the rapture. Here is what Strong tells us about this compound word. The question is, CAN this word mean something else then apostasy? It is a compound word - "apo" and "stasia." Here is what Strong says about "apo:" 1. of separation… 1A. of local separation, 1B. of separation of a part from the whole 1Bi. where of a whole some part is taken 1C. of any kind of separation of one thing from another… 1D. of a state of separation, that is of distance 1Di. physical, of distance of place At the rapture, will some part of the entire population be taken? The answer is YES. Will those taken be separated by DISTANCE? Again the answer is YES. The other part of the compound word 'stasia" is where we get "stationary" or "not moving" from. Putting these two words together then can certainly mean a part of a whole group suddenly moved from where they were to a new location, and it happen so fast, the rest of the whole group seems stationary - not moving. In other words, Paul’s order of events in the rapture or gathering FIRST, as the restraining power, the Holy Spirit working through the believers, then the revealing, and after someone sees these two events, they can know for sure that the Day of the Lord has started, and they are then in it; they are under God’s wrath. Therefore, the restrainer has to be with the church when it is raptured. Only the Holy Spirit fits as the restrainer. He promised never to leave us so when we go, He goes. However, He will still remain on earth to call people to repentance.

"God does not bring the great tribulation, Satan does..." Brother, the days of great tribulation in Revelation will not begin until late in Revelation 14, AFTER God warns people of the mark of the Beast. This is confirmed because John saw the martyrs from the Beast BEGIN to show up in heaven in Rev. 15. However, at the 7th trumpet, which marks the exact midpoint of the week, Satan is kicked off his throne as the "Prince" of the earth, and Earth is given to Jesus Christ and He begins to reign over the kingdoms at that time. We could say that HIS WILL will be done on earth then, as His will is done in heaven. What does Jesus do as the fist event after He begins to reign? Jesus DELEGATES 42 months of Authority to the Beast! Because Jesus is reigning, and because He delegates 42 months of authority to the Beast, that means Jesus is BEHIND those days of Great tribulation. In other words, Satan will CAUSE those days, but God will authorize it. In Revelation, the 70th week will go from Chapter 8 to Chapter 16. However, God will begin the DAY of the LORD at the 6th seal in chapter 6. In other words, God starts HIs wrath BEFORE He begins the WEEK. God then places the WEEK inside the Day of the Lord, so that every judgment of the Week will also be a judgment of the DAY and so will come with God's wrath. It is therefore impossible to separate God's wrath from Satan's wrath IN TIME, for they are contemporary. The truth then is, GOD brings the days of great tribulation, but uses Satan to do it. We find God's PURPOSE in the days of Great tribulation in Daniel 12: to completely SHATTER the power of Israel. Today they trust in their IDF, but God will take that away, and will take Israel to the very edge of total destruction - so that ONLY GOD can deliever them - and that is what He will do. The truth then of the entire Week is that it is a time for the JEWS. God has no need or desire to "completely shatter" His church! It is only imagination that the church must go through those days of GT. I suspect that all Gentile tribulation believers will be put to death.

Rev. 4:1 Brother, I am EXTREMELY pre-trib, but I agree with you here. Revelation 4:1 is JOHN being caught up to heaven, probably around 95 AD. It is extremely bad exegesis to imagine the rapture is hidden here. Paul tells us when the rapture will happen: JUST before wrath or the start of the DAY of His wrath which will begin at the 6th seal. ("The day of His wrath is come.") (This "is come" is from a Greek Aorist verb, a verb that has NO tense information. We get the timing from the verse of mention. Then the Day of the Lord (or the day of His wrath, same thing) will begin as the final event at the 6th seal, and a few days later the 70th Week will begin at the opening of the 7th seal and with the first trumpet.

"There is no such thing as "the tribulation..." Granted, there is no verse that calls the entire 7 years "the tribulation." However: Matthew 24:29 Immediately after THE TRIBULATION of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: Jesus said these words. "the great tribulation starts at the midpoint..." No, the days of great tribulation cannot start until the False Prophet shows up some UNKNOWN TIME after the exact midpoint. It will be the False Prophet that caused people to create the image and the mark, the things that CAUSE those days of great tribulation. In Revelation "those days" of "great tribulation" will not begin until after God warns the people about the mark in Chapter 14. (The exact midpoint is marked by the 7th trumpet.)

I agree with everything you present in this video. But don't think you have the information about the 4th Seal as it should be. You have the 4th Seal listed as pestilence on the slide. Pestilence is part of the 3rd Seal along with famine and earthquakes (Matthew 24:7). And is listed under the beginning of birth pangs. The 4th Seal 's rider is Death with Hades following. Hell on earth-if you will. This is where God allows the death of His Great Tribulation martyrs (power was given to kill them) with sword (this is the 2nd Seal) and hunger (this is the 3rd Seal) and the beasts of the earth. The beasts are the beast rising out of the Sea/antichrist (Rev. 13:1) and the beast coming up out of the earth/false prophet (Rev. 13:11). In other words, the 4th Seal is the Great Tribulation event conducted by the beasts. The result of that event, the 5th Seal, is the souls of those martyrs crying out to God under the altar, in front of His throne (Rev. 8:3), to begin His wrath on those who dwell on the earth.

GODS WRATH BRINGS BOTH TRIALS AND TRIBULATION ! GENERAL TRIBULATION IS NOT GODS WRATH The 70th week of Daniel is for the JEWS and nation of Israel ONLY. The words tribulation ,Wrath and indignation can be and are used interchangeably to describe God ANGER , and judgements. Its clear Gods wrath begins with the opening of the scroll whom JESUS is the only one worthy to open it. As we see through all the judgements God is in control not Satan ! And he was permitted to wage war against the saints and to conquer them. He was also given authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation. Revelation 13:7 - The New Revised Standard Version (NRSV) 7 Also it was allowed to make war on the saints and to conquer them. NOTICE ALLOW OR PERMITTED! God is in charge, He uses Satan to fulfill Gods purpose just as he used pagan nations to enact judgements on Israel in the O.T Jesus also uses the word GREAT TRIBULATION to describe the latter part of Daniels 70TH WEEK WHICH IS GODS WRATH! Trial can be used generically to describe WRATH JUDGEMENTS and tribulation. THEY ARE FORMS OF TRIALS. In the case of REVELATION THEY ARE TRIALS/ WRATH ON AN UNBELIEVING WORLD.

"Believers will be rapture immediately prior to the opening of the 7th seal..." "It will be the pre-wrath rapture of the church." It will also be the PRE-TRIB rapture of the church, for the 70th week will begin at the 7th seal. (I believe the rapture will be just before the 6th seal, but we are perhaps only ten days apart - the days of Awe.)

When the final seal is opened, "the scroll will be opened, as the trumpets are blown, and the Lord will begin His return to earth as the conquering king." Sorry, Brother, but this (Rev. 8:1) is the START of the 70th week, not the end of the week. All the events of Rev. Chapters 9 through 18 must and WILL take place AFTER the 7th seal is opened and BEFORE Christ gets on His white horse to descend to Armageddon. It is not good exegesis to rearrange Revelation to fit some theory. Rather, wisdom decrees that one should FORM their theory from the most complete discussion on a subject, and Revelation is by far the most complete. If we just leave Revelation in the order written, it agrees with all other end time passages. This is John's order of events. Chapter 4: around 32 AD. Jesus under the earth; not seen in the throne room. Chapter 5: around 32 AD: Jesus rose and ascended, and sent the Holy Spirit down. Chapter 6: seals 1-5 : the church age. The RAPTURE. God's WRATH begins at the 6th. Chapter 7: Intermission to cover the sealing of the 144,000 and rapture of the church. Chapter 8: the hurt begins, as Daniel's 70th week begins. Trumpets 1-4 sound. Chapter 9: the hurt continues, Trumpets 5 & 6. Chapter 10: Midpoint intermission. Chapter 11: the abomination and division of the Week, marked by the 7th trumpet. Chapter 12: God introduces John to the Dragon. Chapter 13: God introduces John to the two Beasts. Chapter 14: God warns the people about the mark, then the days of great tribulation begin. Chapter 15: Beheaded saints start to show up in heaven. Chapter 16: Vials or Bowls poured out to SHORTEN those days of GT: the Week ends Chapter 17: Destruction of Babylon Chapter 18: Destruction of Babylon continued Chapter 19: Marriage, Supper, Armageddon Chapter 20: Snapshot look at the Millennial reign.

"with the breaking of the 7th seal in 8:1, the Day of the Lord will begin." John started the Day of the Lord as the final event of the 6th seal. Therefore the first wrath EVENT of the Day will start with the first trumpet judgment in Rev. Chapter 8.

"6th seal - cosmic disturbances - the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give her light..." My Brother, this is far from what the scripture teaches us. IN CONTEXT, you quoted from Matthew 24, and in the context of Matthew 24, this is the sign that will come just before Christ comes to Armageddon. In this Matthew 24 verse, "darkened" comes from the Greek word Skotizo, which, when speaking of heavenly bodies, means "Deprived of light." This is therefore the sign of TOTAL DARKNESS where the sun, moon and stars will be INVISIBLE. In contrast, the sign at the 6th seal is very different: it is speaking of total eclipses of first the sun, and then of the moon. How would anyone know the sun appeared black as sackcloth, unless they SAW the sun? How would anyone know if the moon was red, unless they SAW the moon. For this sign, the sun and moon are VISIBLE. This was Robert Van Kampen's first huge error in developing his pre-wrath theory. He wrote that he had studied all the scriptures about the signs in the sun and moon and decided that they were all talking about the same event. This was a huge error. Total eclipses are a FAR different sign than total darkness. Then he also ignored the TIMING of these events. The truth of scripture is that God will begin the Day of His wrath first, before the 70th week, with the signs of total eclipses, then after 7 years, another sign, total darkness. When Jesus comes to Armageddon, as shown in Matthew 24 and Rev. 19, the sign of His coming will be as lightning flashing across a very dark sky. In other words, there will be TWO cosmic signs, one before the start of the Day of the Lord, and they next when Jesus comes to Armageddon. If we leave the start of the Day of the Lord where John put it, immediately after the rapture that ends the church age, and before the start of the 70th Week, then the rapture will be both pre-wrath and pre-trib. Jeremiah 30:7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it. Jacob had to work an extra 7 years for the woman he loved, so the 7 years of the 70th Week of Daniel was also called the time of "Jacob's trouble." However, Jeremiah wrote that "that day is Great" speaking of the Day of the Lord or the Day of His wrath (two titles for the same period of time). This is in complete agreement with John in Revelation, for John begins the Day of the Lord first, before the 70th Week, and in doing that, places the entire 70th week INSIDE the Day of the Lord, So any judgment of the 70th Week is also a judgment of the Day of the Lord.
@LyleCooper
@LyleCooper 11 күн бұрын
"nothing in Revelation before 8:1 is part of God's wrath..." Yet, John wrote that the Day of His wrath officially began at the opening of the 6th seal, after the signs in the sun and moon. However, the first EVENT of the Day of the Lord, will be the first trumpet judgment. This first trumpet will also be the first EVENT of the 70th week of Daniel. God will start the Day of the Lord (an extended time that will include the 70th week and the millennial reign) first, then start the 70th week, effectively placing the entire week INSIDE the Day of the Lord, so that every judgment of the Week will also be a judgment of the Day of the Lord. Where is the 6th seal start of the Day of the Lord on Revelation's timeline? It will be opened after the 5 seal, of course. What when is (was) the 5th seal opened? If we leave the seals IN CONTEXT, the fifth seal was opened for Stephen's murder, the first martyr of the church age. The first seal was opened, according to chapters 4 & 5, as soon as Jesus ascended and sent the Holy Spirit down, so around AD 32. The first seal is the CHURCH sent out with the GOSPEL. Seals 2, 3, and 4 are to represent the devil's attempts to stop the advance of the GOSPEL. God has allowed Satan to use wars, famines and pestilences to try and stop the advance of the gospel. However, God LIMITED the devil to only one fourth of the Earth, probably Europe, The Middle East and Africa -the very places where two world wars took place, where time after time Pestilences killed many, and where famine after famine has come. Therefore, the theory that the days of great tribulation Jesus spoke of will be during the seals is only imagination. John does not begin the days of great tribulation Jesus spoke of until late in Chapter 14 of Revelation.

"Awesome job! Finally, someone recognizes that the great crowd, too large to number, is the just-raptured church, raptured JUST before the start of the Day of the Lord (the 6th seal) and seen in heaven shortly after that. Chapter 7 of Revelation is like a play with intermissions when they drop the curtain between acts of the play. What goes on behind the curtain? They are rearranging the setting to fit the next act. For John, the next act will be the opening of the 7th seal which allows the BOOK to be opened which will begin the 70th Week of Daniel. God MUST see two events accomplished before He will allow the HURT on the Earth to begin. He MUST see the 144,000 sealed for their protection, and He MUST see the church safely in heaven away from His wrath. Once God sees these two events accomplished, then He will allow the hurt on the Earth to begin: the trumpet judgments.

"WHEN does God's wrath actually begin?" This is the simplest of questions to answer. God's wrath begins at the 6th seal with the start of the Day of His wrath. That will be just AFTER the signs in the sun and moon; the sun turning black and the moon appearing red.

"If you assume that the entire tribulation is the wrath of God, you will be forced to conclude that the rapture will be pre-tribulation..." On Revelation's timeline, the wrath of God begins at the opening of the 6th seal. On Revelation's timeline, the 70th Week of Daniel begins at the opening of the 7th seal. Will the 6th seal be opened before the 7th seal? OF COURSE It will! Therefore, the rapture WILL BE pre-tribulational. Many people, in error, imagine that the Week will begin with the FIRST seal. Most of those also imagine that the first seal is the Antichrist. They are pulling that first seal OUT OF CONTEXT. The context in a nutshell is Jesus ascension and His sending down the Holy Spirit. (Rev. 5) Take careful note: 1. Jesus was NOT SEEN in the throne room in Chapter 4, showing us a time while Jesus was on the earth. 2. The Holy Spirit was SEEN in the throne room, showing us a time before Jesus ascended to send Him down. 3. Jesus was NOT FOUND WORTHY to open the book in the first search John watched. This shows us that Jesus had not yet risen from the dead. 4. JOHN WEPT MUCH. Why much? He wept until Jesus prevailed over death and then became worthy to open the book. The next thing John saw in the vision was Jesus suddenly entering the throne room where He had been gone for 32 or so years. He ascended after sending Mary away, entered the throne room, sent down the Holy Spirit, and took the BOOK from the Father. WHEN? Around AD 32. 5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth. 5:7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne. No one can find 2000 years there, for that was not the intent of the Author. Jesus opened that first seal around AD 32-the very time He sent out the church with the gospel. The FIRST SEAL: represents the CHURCH sent out with the GOSPEL. Seals 2, 3, 4: God has allowed the devil to use WARS, FAMINES, and PESTILENCES to try and stop the advance of the Gospel. These three horsemen, the RED horse and rider, the BLACK horse and rider, and the PALE horse and rider were LIMITED in their theater of operations to only one fourth of the surface of the earth, probably Europe, the Middle East and Africa-the very places where two world wars were fought, where famines have been common, and where the black plague hit again and again. Seal 5 was opened in time for Stephen's murder, becoming one of the first murders and martyrs of the church age. They were crying out wondering how long they would have to wait for judgment to begin when their murders would be judged. In short, they were told they would have to wait for the FINAL MARTYR to be killed as they all were killed, in the same category, as church age martyrs. In short, they will have to wait for the pre-tribulation rapture to END the church age, so judgment can begin. Therefore the rapture of the church must come AFTER the 5th seal. The 6th seal begins the wrath of God, so the rapture must come BEFORE the 6th seal.

"It is in the 6th seal we find God's wrath." "After the cosmic disturbances" "After the rapture" "After the midpoint of the Week" He was right on track up to that last statement. Indeed, since Paul showed us that the rapture much come before God's wrath, and God's wrath begins at the 6th seal, then yes, the 6th seal start of wrath will come AFTER the rapture. Will God's wrath come after "the cosmic" signs? John wrote that the sun would turn back. We see the sun appearing black during a total eclipse. We see the moon turning red during a lunar eclipse. These are NOT "disturbances," they are signs in the sky. And they will come, according to Joel, before the start of the Day of the Lord. Where is the 6th seal opening in relation to the midpoint of the week? The exact midpoint will be marked by the sounding of the 7th trumpet. That is in Revelation chapter 11. On the other hand, the 7th seal is opened before ANY trumpet can sound. Why? The trumpets are written INSIDE the book, and the book cannot be opened until all seven seals are opened first. This is why we KNOW the rapture is pre-trib. The tribulation will begin at the 7th seal (when the book gets opened) and WITH the first trumpet. By this time, the raptured church will be in heaven. The days of Great tribulation will not start for another three and a half years. Therefore, the correct order will be: 1. The rapture (people are thinking and saying "peace and safety.") 2. The 6th seal opened 3. The great earthquake, (probably caused by the dead in Christ rising.) 4. the signs in the sun and moon 5. The Day of His wrath begins. 6. The 7th seal opened (probably after the ten days of Awe). 7. The BOOK is opened to begin the 70th week of Daniel. 8: the first trumpet sounds. 9. The first six trumpets sound 10. The 7th trumpet sounds, the man of sin enters the temple causing the abomination. 11. Those in Judea begin to flee (Rev. 12:6)

What is cut short is "the great tribulation." Sorry, but Jesus never put a title on this time. What He DID say was "those days" of "great tribulation." "Those days" will not begin in Revelation until late in Chapter 14, after God sends angels to warn the people.

"Jesus said that the days of great tribulation (GT) will be shortened. What shortens them?" In his drawing, it is the start of the Day of the Lord that shortens those days of GT. Is this scriptural? No, John in Revelation does not even begin the days of GT until late in chapter 14. They will continue through chapter 15 and into chapter 16. In comparison, John starts the Day of the Lord late in Chapter 6, over three and a half years before the START of the days of GT. What then WILL God use to shorten those days of GT? God will use the bowls of His wrath to shorten the days of GT. They are poured out in Rev. chapter 16.

I think 1st Thessalonians 4:15 is the most key thing to take from this rapture passage. Because it informs us that Paul's teaching on the rapture came from "the word of the Lord." There's only one teaching from Jesus that could match what Paul is describing here in 1st Thessalonians 4... and that's the Olivet Discourse. Jeremiah 17:17 Ephesians 5:14 Isaiah 60:1-2 The day of doom. The day of deep darkness. Paul is quoting Isaiah 60:1-2 in Ephesians 5:14 and associating it with a resurrection. A resurrection which 1st Thessalonians 4 says the rapture will not precede. "Do not be a terror to me; you are my hope in the day of doom." Double destruction Jeremiah 17:18 Revelation 18:6

I struggle with this: if the innumerable multitude in Rev chapter 7 is the raptured church.. (Paul says in 1 Cor 15:52 ".. at the last trump... the dead in Christ...") but the 7th angel doesn't sound the [last] trumpet till Rev 11:15 Q: are the innumerable multitude just the dead in Christ spirits & NOT the raptured church as the church is [still] on the earth? please be clear & brief as possible in you answer

Grace toy you, The last trumpet in 1 Cor 15 is not the 7th Trumpet of Rev 11. One reason is that the Rapture trumpet is Gods and the 7th is blown by an angle and the events of each are completely different. If you look at the sequence in Rev 6-8, Matt 24-25 the Rapture happens before Gods wrath which starts with the first Trumpet, Rev 6:10, 17. Also, the Rev 7 saints come out of the Great Trib and represent all Raptured saints, this happens before Gods Wrath. I hope this helps

The "last trump" has no relation to the "7 trumpets." To know what he means when he speaks of the last trumpet you need to read Numbers.... The LORD spoke further to Moses, saying, “Make yourself two trumpets of silver, of hammered work you shall make them; and you shall use them for summoning the congregation and for having the camps set out. When both are blown, all the congregation shall gather themselves to you at the doorway of the tent of meeting. Yet if only one is blown, then the leaders, the heads of the divisions of Israel, shall assemble before you. But when you blow an alarm, the camps that are pitched on the east side shall set out. When you blow an alarm the second time, the camps that are pitched on the south side shall set out; an alarm is to be blown for them to set out. When convening the assembly, however, you shall blow without sounding an alarm. - Numbers 10:1-7

The last Trump is not referring to the Trumpet judgments. They occur at the beginning of the Day of the Lord AFTER the saints are raptured and depicted in Rev 7 you site. The church is not appointed to God wrath. And the Trumpet judgments certainly are! Notice the great multitude have bodies so all present took part in the rapture event Paul teaches to the Thessalonian church.

(Rev. 7:9 KJB) "a great multitude' - this multitude is composed of many racial and geographic groups who will be redeemed during the Tribulation (v. 14), during which many will find Christ as Saviour. Having died or been martyred during the tribulation, this great multitude are seen in heaven enjoying its blessings (vv. 15-17).

Instead of looking at "the last trump" as being the last trumpet in the large scroll, consider it as being the last Feast of Trumpets in this current evil age. The four spring feasts were fulfilled with Christ's death, burial, resurrection and Pentecost. I believe the first fall feast, the Feast of Trumpets, will be fulfilled with Christ's coming and the rapture. "The" trump of God will sound calling God's people into His presence. One of the main uses of the trumpet by the people of Israel in the Old Testament.

Thanks Alan, like pretribbers the Thessalonians also believed in imminency. Both are wrong, hence Paul's Corrective 2nd letter. It truly angers me to see the injection, gymnastics and harm done to GOD'S WORD in order for them to hold on to their cherished invention - the pretrib rapture! I feel so strongly because I see it's effect all throughout the Church. It's dangerous and harmful, and only serves to leave it weak and unprepared . They like to think of themselves as the Philadelphian Church ( raptured ) when really they seem exactly like the Church of Laodicea, Comfortable, Asleep and Unengaged with Proclaiming the Coming Kingdom --- Because " They're outta here" All that trib stuff is not for them!

I must begin by acknowledging how thankful I am for you and the work you have done regarding the pre-wrath rapture. Enforcing what I learned, first from a study I did approx 30 years ago on the day of the Lord and Christ's coming that was prompted by a tape set on Thessalonians by dear brother Marv, and then his book he sent when I wrote him about that study. I have been of the mind that Paul taught the Thessalonians that the rapture could not occur until after the abomination of desolation (2Thess 2:1-5) but had left out the resurrection of the dead part. He is informing them of that in this letter. I could very well be wrong on this, of course. Thank you so much for how much you bless us through your studies and may God bless, protect and keep you and yours in the days ahead!!!

And finally, note Jeremiah 33:15-16: “In those days and at that time I will cause to grow up to David a Branch of righteousness; He shall execute judgement and righteousness in the earth. In those days Judah will be saved, and Jerusalem will dwell safely. And this is the name by which she (Jerusalem) will be called: THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.” And again, in Jeremiah 31:31: “Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah-not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them, says the LORD. But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: ‘I will put My laws in their minds, and write it on their hearts; and I will be their God and they shall be My people. No more shall every man teach his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, ‘Know the LORD,’ for they shall all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them, says the LORD. For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sins I will remember no more.’”

Also note, at the end of the “Millennial age” we are told of great rebellion in Revelation 20:7-9: “NOW WHEN THE THOUSAND YEARS HAVE EXPIRED, Satan will be released from His prison and will go out to DECEIVE the NATIONS which are in the four corners of the earth, GOG AND MAGOG, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea. They went up on the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city. And fire came down from God out of heaven and devoured them.”

I ask myself: “What is God accomplishing as He moves humanity from “age to age” when, at last, we come to the New Heaven and Earth and the New Jerusalem. On this timeline, I know this age, where I dwell, will come to an end as expressed in 😅Revelation and give way to an “age of regeneration,” the Millennium, where Christ rules on planet Earth for 1000 years and all God’s Promises to King David and Israel will find completion. Also, in the overall plans of God for Humanity on planet Earth, Christ created Man to love and be loved by Him given Man the freedom to chose; but, should Man fall (and he did), Christ, Himself took responsibility for Man’s fall on the Cross, died and went to Hell in Man’s place. However, Hades couldn’t hold Him and He rose from the grave and sits at the right hand of God Almighty. Thus in this “church age, in which we live, to those who believe in Jesus, Christ is our righteousness and we are cleansed, sanctified and justified by His Blood, by His works-and not our own. Now, we live by the law of the Holy Spirit (Christ dwelling in us) and not the law of sin and death which reveals that we are all sinners and points us to Our Redeemer, Jesus Christ. The Book of Revelation reveals great and wonderful promises to church believers who “overcome” as Christ, Himself overcame! But now the “Millennium” - what is God planning to accomplish in that age which precedes the “Final State?”

How do you interpret the messages to the “churches” with regard to “the promises” to “He who overcomes.” For example, note Rev. 2:26-27: “And He who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations- ‘He shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the potter’s vessels shall be broken to pieces’-as I also have received from My Father.

Personally, I stand on pre-tribulation rapture theory which comes right before the man of lawlessness is revealed to the world stage. Concerning pre-wrath rapture theory.. There are problems with this view, because the antichrist signs a seven year peace treaty which fails AFTER the three and a half years. We know that the duration of the tribulation is SEVEN years. Daniel 9:27 This dosen't fit with a pre-wrath rapture, because the man of lawlessness is only REVEALED AFTER the restrainer is taken away [at the rapture]. This would mean the man of lawlessness is only made known/revealed at half way point in the middle of the seven years. We have to consider the timing for him to institute the mark, where no one can buy or trade. The man of lawlessness setting himself up as god in the temple, and then causing the abomination of desolation. 2 Thessalonians 2:5-8 NKJV reads.... 5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 6 And now you know what is restraining, that HE (the antichrist) may be revealed in his own time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only HE (the Holy Spirit) who now restrains will do so until HE (the Holy Spirit) is taken out of the way. 8 And THEN the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. Other: The pre-wrath rapture theory teaches that the first seal judgments are not the wrath of God, but rather satan through the antichrist. However, Scripture shows that it is the Lamb who opens the seals: Revelation 5:5 and 6:1 No other man is found worthy to open them Revelation 5:3-4. It would seem, then, these are not man’s judgments, but God’s. The tribulation begins when Jesus opens the first seal. God bless everyone 🙏

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18 is the rapture scripture. It talks about both the dead and living who are in Christ being caught up, snatched away, removed. verse 18 Says... Therefore encourage [comfort] one another with these words. At no point will there be comfort here on earth during any part of the 7 year tribulation. 💢Mark 13:18 For in those days shall be affliction, such as was not from the BEGINNING of the creation which God created unto this time, neither shall be. Compared to... Titus 2:13 says... Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ. 💢 Revelation 3:10 Jesus said... Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth. 🔥Jesus' words make it clear that the church/ the body of Christ will not go through the hour of trial, a reference to the "tribulation," a seven-year period of intense earthly distress and the subject of much of the book of Revelation. The Greek word translated "from" is ek, meaning "out of." Unlike other forms of hardship, where God promises to be with us, or to keep us "through" or "in" those times of difficulty, the church will be kept out of the tribulation. If the church were destined to be kept through the tribulation, the Greek word dia, meaning "through," could have been used but it is not. Most of all we need to consider 2 Thessalonians 2:5-8 NKJV 💥 👉This tells us about the Holy Spirit who is the restrainer. He is removed first of all and this ushers in the man of lawlessness.....the antichrist who comes to the world stage. The restrainer is the Holy Spirit who indwells in the believers. 💢 2 Thessalonians 2:5-8 5 Do you not remember that when I was still with you I told you these things? 6 And now you know what is restraining, that HE (the antichrist) may be revealed in his own time. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only HE (the Holy Spirit) who now restrains will do so until HE (the Holy Spirit) is taken out of the way. 8 And THEN the lawless one will be REVEALED, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. So, if the man of lawlessness is only revealed After the rapture takes place, and we know that antichrist is here for the duration of the 7 year. It means that there has to be a pre-tribulation rapture.

💢 Israel is the Bride of the Lamb, not the Church. The union of the lamb and the Bride will take place straight after the Great Tribulation and before the Millennial reign. Revelation 19:7 says... For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and HIS BRIDE has made herself READY. KJV says... for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and HIS WIFE hath made herself ready. The Greek says, The marriage of the lamb and the WOMAN of him has made herself ready. Greek word used is γυνὴ (gynē) it means woman. And of course in the old Testament metaphorically, Israel is the WIFE of God, who he gave a certificate of divorce. But in Gods his mercy he calls her to repent and to return come back to him. 👉The WOMAN spoken of in Revelation 19:7 is the same WOMAN found in REVELATION chapter 12. Israel is the woman who will be married back to God the lamb. The bride of the lamb is NOT the Church. The Church is ready,... Israel is NOT yet ready. However she will be in the future. We the Church are the invited guests to the marriage... 💢Revelation 19:9 Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!” And he added, “These are the true words of God.” 💢JOHN 3:29 The bride belongs to the bridegroom. The FRIEND who attends the BRIDEGROOM waits and listens for him, and is full of joy when he hears the bridegroom’s voice. That joy is mine, and it is now complete.

Do you not believe that the Anti-Christ is restrained by the Holy Spirit in believers, per 2Thessalonians 2:6-7? Doesn't it make more sense that before he can rule for 3-1/2 years "unbridled," the Christians who would recognize him would have to be gone? I believe most of what you are saying, but I lean more towards Mid-Trib because of this scripture.

How many resurrections will there be? Answer: two. Blessed and holy are they who are in the first resurrection (Rev 20:6). (Note: the rapture and the first resurrection are the same.) This glorious event takes place when The Two Witnesses are raptured / resurrected. (1) they hear a great voice from heaven saying unto them, "Come up hither.” And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them. (Rev 11:12, John 5:28) (2) first the dead in Christ are raised and quickly followed by those who are alive (whose bodies takes on immortality in the moment in the twinkling of an eye.) (3) our enemies will see us ascend into heaven just as the apostles/other people saw Jesus ascend into heaven. (4) Rev 11:13-14 starts the second and third woes. We won't experience God’s wrath because we have just been raptured! Thank you, Lord Jesus!! (Note: the second death and the second resurrection are the same.)
