yawn....seriously, if your splitting nanoseconds into "fast" and "faster", what the heck work DO you do? :-) I'm an old CAD-guy, and "even" SATA is just fine for my planwork. If it works, just be happy, and keep doin' it. Keep the $$$ in YOUR pocket!

I noticed that with a lot of server stuff. I guess they just expect there to be so much airflow coming from the loud high RPM server fans, that they make the heatsinks simpler unless it absolutely needs it.

Thank you for your inquiry. As for your system, it appears it came with onboard storage that is not upgradeable. You can add external storage with an addition of an SD Card: kings.tn/46MENkj

@markwmscym No, the current HDD or SSD does not have to be Kingston, but the new one does to activate Acronis True Image software via our Kingston SSD Manager.
