Your splatter is so perfect! Mine is always blotchy, lol. The sunset blend reminds me of the primary colours - delightful! I used to do thank you cards for the people I petsat for, he he he. Good on you!

I’ve been crafting for many many years and I’ve never had what you are calling paper dust, I’m not familiar with it, my sissix is 10 years old and I’ve used it a lot bc of teaching classes, I’m still using the same plates even though they are cracked, they are still straight. Not bowed.

That’s wonderful you’ve been crafting for so long! I go through plates a lot. What’s your secret? I would appreciate any advice you have! Next time, I will have to show you a close up of the paper dust I’m talking about.

@@KellyWhickerCards for my white card bases I use paper studios from hobby lobby. 110 # for bases, 65# or 80# for layering. I use a large guillatine for cutting. I keep my plates rolled to the center of my die cutting machine when not in use and when they start to bow I turn it over. Happy to help with anything I can. I live in Fresno, California and I’m 88 yrs old. Just letting you know a little about me.

I don’t snack while crafting because I am afraid of an accident ruining my card. Also I love foiling but mine isn’t as time consuming as the electric one I’m watching you use but to each his own on how we do things. Right?

Cute card. I really like the die and how easy it all came together. Sometimes I use my Xyron and other times I use double sided adhesive sheets for intricate dies. I have no patience for glue with those.

You might also cut the fancy die from gold or silver foil cardstock on another color base or white base, I prefer a white base bc to me it looks more elegant.
