this dlc was so odd and so cool. the main game seemed so neatly wrapped then this dlc came and made the tone so uncertain and unsettling, the music and the story beats, it all makes you really kind of scared of vergil and what he's becoming. the reboot was set up for a pretty cool sequel after this. shame it didn't take off

1:22 Because that line isn't subtitled, I like to think it was added in as improv from the joker voice actor or someone on the team, as just a true dedication to the character's suffering and what it means to Batman when Joker wants to TEACH Batman and make him as messed up as he is. Why should Batman save Gotham when it created both of them, each have suffered through tremendous pain and yet, the Batman chooses mercy? This always baffled Joker, how Batman decides to 'reward' the bad in the town and justify it as 'The right thing to do' when CLEARLY, the right thing to do to a crime ridden and hopeless city like Gotham is burn it all to the ground and start over. Gotham doesn't care about them, so why should they care about it?

The first time I encountered it was at the lobby and I was pissed fucking scared and was basicly almost out of ammo on things due to me not knowing what i was doing. I shot at him with everything and i then only had gloo. I eventualy i barricaded myself on the sales department using heavy cargo as cover which worked surprisingly. I jokingly threw an armchair to just shit on hik but found out it actualy does damage. So with hiw little health the creature had, i glooed him, dodging the things and dropped a sofa on top of him, doing a staggering 270 damage and killing him It was at this point i knew that the real ammo in this gane is the miriade of indestructible furnitures around

Early game I would just hide in a security booth or other lockable room, now I have phantoms help me kill the shit out of it when it dares come after me.

This game had potential that I sense was only partially realized. Imagine if they remade this remake. Fleshed it out with something a bit more fluid and open world. More weapons or compelling and impactful weapon combos. Fleshed out story and so on.
