Yes I’d recommend this as this is located in the heart of Gion, walking distance to many attractions in Kyoto. Rates are also budget-friendly. The only con I believe is that you can only check-in on/before 9PM, and their gate is already closed by that time. You can check as well other guests’ reviews in Agoda or Booking.com. The ryokan name is Gion Ryokan Q-Beh
