I actually didn’t love Marleybone as much. You were always running around on rooftops, and then you’d run into a tower to fight a boss, then back on rooftops like it was the exact same. Def not as bad as krok though. I think the reason it felt like a breath of fresh air was because you finally got your aoe in Marley, vs when I play through it (with how many quests I do in wizard city) I usually get my 4 pip aoe in krok

Arbitrary rules just to cheese with treasure cards that are naturally unavailable kinda feels... unsatisfactory idk. As someone who has played Wizard101 since launch, shooting yourself in the foot by making yourself unable to farm good gear and flee battles, yet skipping battles and abusing RNG resets by leaving dungeons kind of defeats the purpose of those set limitations. Nevertheless impressive done as a fire wizard, I feel like a nuzlocke isn't that difficult? I solo'd Wizard City as death and never died once without even meaning to..

Okay this is really impressive, but incase you found it interesting, I myself have created a challenge that I wouldn’t say is as difficult but still insanely hard. The 0 pips run. Currently I’m nearly done with Kroktopia having never used a single pip from a new save with no shared bank and no use of other players helping me in battle.

Man, Zeritt lost to my most hated fight. Those Stingtails give me nightmares even when I'm awake. They are the bane of Mormo's existence. They are the devil and Mormo is Christ. Even at 100% power, Mormo could not overcome the bs of the double crit. The most powerful technique in Pirate101. Only masters of rng can pull such a feat off. But tbh that spawn was so garbage KI did you dirty.

Ngl. I think most people quit before they ever finish the second arc. If they don't quit. They just stop and start a lot. Azteca is especially rough. It's the Mooshu of Arc 2. Passable story, fun dungeons and areas. Actually has decent side quests. But completely forgettable. They tried to get away with a lot of back tracking in Azteca cause the areas themselves are smaller but it still inflated travel time. (They got way better at not creating forgettable zones. Since they switched to a model of treating every new zone like an expansion. Arc 3 is a masterclass in world design) I honestly think even though Khrysalis is extremely long. It introduces so much stuff to the game, has a good story, and is overall just fairly enjoyable that it's actually worth its longer play time. By the end of Khrysalis. You effectively are playing a completely different game. It can be a bit tedious at times like most worlds with their busy work. Khrysalis has especially egregious side quests that can inflate the play time by double. I know people who've played through Khrysalis multiple times and still haven't done all the side quests. People playing through the whole thing in one go or people with experience playing through it again basically aren't even playing the same game as everyone else to an even bigger degree. Basically playing Wizard 101 like it's runescape. Most of the hate for part 2 doesn't come from new or returning players. On the contrary. Since that's normally how far they get. It's well liked. It comes from people on their 4th or 5th character. I don't really think a skip is ever the solution. It sets bad expectations and unless they redesign a lot of stuff. Will just lead to people quitting due to being confused by having no gradual ramp up in complexity and difficulty. I can just imagine people skipping to like Arc 4 and not even being able to read a single card without a dictionary out lol. Might actually force them to add in UI QoL though. It's already hard to get people to understand the basic early strategies. Let alone teaching them anything beyond using feint
