I feel like this part of the game really felt long compared to the other two (belobog and Laofou) It genuinely became so dense and slow with all the constant cutscenes and the word play. And some of the characters just felt kind of like they got forgotten one being Sparkle and i feel like Misha should have been shown more in the beginning chapters. This part of the game just felt like kingdom hearts, like they wanted to make everything poetry and I guess Shakespeare like (?) but it got corny real fast and kept going on and on. And I feel like the parts where it tries to be philosophical it just fails at or you get confused. I did like the Firefly part but I didn’t like being manipulated into the whole date part in 2.1, it just wasn’t my thing. Overall it’s not bad, but it’s okay, but I feel like that magic in Belobog might not come back for a while.

So at least some of the existing stuff won't be around anymore, but who knows what parts are going away. I'm guessing we start from scratch with Thought Evolution (skill tree), Abnormal Investigation (psuedo-achievements), and shop inventory. Your wish for more Jinhsi showcase has been granted!

there wasn't much to offer to begin with tbh, you were just running from one person to other, from one location to other and listen these longass dialogues all the same. they now just did cut the intervals for you. other than running to one other person, or object or enemy; there isn't much you can do anyway. it's just the way this company delivers their story: with longass dialogues of some emotionless mannequins forced on the player's screen. note that it would be fine ONLY if they did let us skip it all with an actual skip button since one might not be interested in a story that is delivered in such a lame way. but, oh well, the game keeping the player captive is a known issue anyway.

One main point is that in Hoyo's cosmology, within the vast universe, certain similar or identical characters appear across various worlds, with similar personalities and characteristics. For example, different versions of Bronya and Himeko has appeared in both Honkai Impact and Star Rail, and Welt Yang (who directly came from Honkai Impact) did so with the intention of making sure the Star Rail Himeko stayed safe. Similar ideals are shared, as well. The worlds of Takanahara and Izumo, and the disaster of "Kami" descending upon them are very similar (but NOT identical) to the events of Honkai Impact 3rd, matching up to the Previous Era (a high tech civilisation in the past), the Current Era (modern day) and the Honkai (a mysterious disaster and corruptive energy source that spawned monsters, plagues and powerful Herrschers - Emanator-type beings with godlike powers). I undestand that HSR only players will be confused, HI3rd lore goes deep, we HI3rd players even just recently got the meaning of Honkai and its lore, because the narration and explanation uses the unreliable narrator type of storytelling, we changed perspective thanks to what the most inteligent characters in game undestood it, until the end of the 1st part of the story ended we got a better undestandig, I recomend HomuLabs video explanation to anything related to Honkai. Spoiler alert: I will try to explain the lore from Honkai in this one, Honkai is a type of energy present in all things and universe, there is a higher being that we know as the Cocoon of Finality/end that controled the Honkai energy and impose a samsara (repeat cycle of reincarnation or rewind of time) to civilizations to try and embrance them (someting like make the civilization similar or be capable of interact with it) by making them undergo trials and panetary anihilation, it causes the increase of Honkai energy in the planet and choses some proxys and convert them into herrschers (being capable of manipulate honkai energy to bend pysical laws and other things) and each herrscher has control over a concept, so all of the swords in the myriad celestia trailer are a paralel of the herrschers or the divine keys (the divine keys are weapons and artifacts made by using a herrscher core and are capable of using the power of the herrschers) from what we know about HI3rd the herrscher autority can vary with each samsara because these are forms of how the cocoon of Finality try to embrace the civilization, but the ones we know are the same the trailer showed. I mean, so far Aventurine haven't lied to us really. He was pretty straight foward about wanting our help for something thinking of "Friends" as people to be used, and when he mentioned about Acheron after BS sent us to him. He said what he genuinly belives about her, in the response I gave him, I think it was the "Acheron was There" one, Aventurine seemed genuinley surprised about it. He himself doesn't really know who or what she is, he only knows she is dangerous and seems like bad new, telling us to stay away because he needs us, he doesn't want us to get hurt. He doesn't know her personally, so he doesn't know she actually helped us. He clearly has an objective of his own, but at least he hasn't lied to us, everyone else did. Even Acheron not telling us who she actually is, she only keeps saying "Acheron, a Galaxy Ranger they call me", when she clearly is not. I don't trust anyone in Penacony besides the Express Crew. But Aventurine is not that bad if we think about it. Idk what his goal is, maybe is actually something not good, but at least with him I can know. So I prefer him over a liar hahaha I was weary of Acheron all the time, but after the Short I'm genuinly scared xd I personally believe Aventurine just wants to get free from the IPC, he is there to try and get Penacony back to the IPC because he was sentenced to Death if he fails. Theoretical question: Are we sure that Black Swan can't implant memories, the same way she can remove them? What if Acheron really hadn't met the Annihilation Gang, but Swan gave her glimpses of memories that leads her to confronting them..... so this whole dance takes place before Acheron arrives in Penacony, and it's Swan's meddling that gets Duke Inferno killed? As we see the dance progress we stop seeing the present and instead end up in Swan's memory zone. I think the transition is important. I believe the last scene is the present, and the dance is in the past.

Naturally snakes are ambush predators so letting the prey come close before going in for the kill seems like Acherons character. Which makes it a lot scarier to know she could've killed the MC in the dreamscape without breaking a sweat. Glad she's on our side(?) for the time being. I wonder what's the significance of the different appearances of her mask. In this video, there's a mostly-white one, a mostly-red one, and one that's half-and-half, all fox-shaped.
