Wow! Thank you for sharing such stunning trees! Puts my collection to shame 😊 yes definitely more content like this as knowledge shared is knowledge gained. 👍

What a nice collection. Did you wire the big airlayer into the pond basket? It looks very top heavy and I'd be afraid it would fall over or out because of the small footprint of the pot it is in

@@BonsaiCornwallit is 👍Provided they make it through the next few months I will post one on to you in autumn once they have had a chance to settle in the pond baskets and develop more root. I would have loved to send them out to many more people but numbers are limited, and a couple sadly didn’t make it.

Love where you have got with the tree… the story really speaks through the design. Lovely work and glad you’re in a better place now. One thing to think about it the upward motion if the jinned branches. They may fit in with the design and the story of struggle if the reflected the downward movement of the others. But just a thought…
@BonsaiCornwall15 күн бұрын
Love this, thank you so much for the suggestion mate 😊 going off of the inspo pic I liked the upward motion but you’ve definitely added some food for thought 💭 💚

This is definitely one of my favorite videos of yours, and seeing some of the history of this tree over the last couple of years really adds to it. This tree has now had its foundation set to build on over the years, and I can't wait to see its progression. I like the rock at the root base; it creates a visual taper to the whole composition, but if you would like to improve the base, I will send you some things that could improve the roots in that area of the rock over time. 😁

Definitely not a failure Jonas. You have learnt something? Hopefully 😂 My thoughts, it had way too many branches and buds for the roots to sustain the whole tree. 🙏

Easy to look back and suggest you should have left the bag until spring but I I fear it just didnt have enough roots to support the growth. I agree that i don't think removing the flowers made any difference. Nicely documented and you are just going to have to get another branch done :)
