My wife constantly misspells lists all the time for fun. Given the decent handwriting and fact they had a well-put-together list, I'd say this was for fun. Also, she purposely leaves lists in carts if she knows they won't blow away..

Were you aware you could have bet the horses to show and if they came in the top 3 you still would have won? Lol, yeah, the security guards have always been super old, chilled guys, gives em somethin to do in their retirement. The actual real deal security is mostly out of site and is run by the police department and swat team. They would pounce out of nowhere in a heart beat if need be. I love Del Mar.

it’s a shopping list spelling is irrelevant as long as you know what it means it’s not like it’s a resume or a college term paper.

I think he made this list. He did not “find” it. He clearly has a conclusion that he wants to convey, to persuade others to his point of view, and fabricated “evidence” he thought would be most impactful to do so. It is a moot point anyway because what he is actually doing is proving his opponents’ position - namely, that regardless of “correct” spelling, if a reader can comprehend and understand the meaning or intent behind a word, hasn’t then written language done exactly the job for which it was invented?

How is this kind, humble and forgiving? I'm impressed when anyone makes a grocery list and is also able to pay for their groceries. The spelling is atrocious, I grant you, but let people live their own lives. And why is the narrator sitting there looking drunk as a skunk, criticizing someone just going about their day?

It's most definitely a joke my friend. I write my growsherry lists with over the top misspelled words too because I think I'm funny.

I need a shot of that Don Julio😁. On a serious note I found a Shwayder Bros Inc. Samsonite, made in Denver Colorado crocodile suitcase and it came without the key. Can you guide me in the right direction of where to find one or how to pick it open, thanks.

Walt didn’t mean change for the sake of it. Removing a glorified park with a circus tent is not the same as destroying wildly popular attractions like Splash Mountain. That quote is abused so often today and Walt himself said that the park is supposed to be rooted in nostalgia.

We used to play with an old boat anchor radio, and we used to imagine that it was a control panel of our flying saucer or rocket or whatever we were thinking. I didn't have the right to light it up, as it was my grandfather shortwave receiver. It was a Hammarlund 160A, and yes, I still have it, with the matching speaker in mint condition. It still works well. Edit: That plastic looks like vacuum moulding. It's made from a thick sheet of plastic that was heated and put on top of the mould, and vacuum is applied for it to be able to take the shape of the mould, by tinny holes in the mould itself.

Four bucks in 1959ish dollars! Near 30-40 bucks today. I loved the Mine Train. The horse and mule based rides were gone, I'm almost positive, in my first visit ca. 1958. What a treasure to have held onto. Well played, mate. Greetings from Northrhein/Westfalia, Germany. Yah, weird, this California boy lives in Germany now.

Please do not forget Lynchburg is less than an hour’s drive from the birthplace of the Klan. Just a couple counties over in Pulaski, TN. Yes, Nathan Green and Jack developed a relationship that endures today AT THE SAME EXACT TIME and PLACE in our Nation’s history that birthed some of the finest whiskey in the world and one of the most evil organizations ever. There is picture at the distillery of George Green, one of Nearest’s sons, seated to Jack’s right. That would been unheard of in that era. There has not been a time that Green’s descendants have not worked at the distillery to this day. We all have choices. Choose wisely. Just a thought from the old, white southern guy from Tennessee. Treat your fellow members of the human race right. They might be compelled to reciprocate.
