Iun ka ch hua 😂. How an old couple manage this .They can change the batteries but this is bullshit.

This is just stupid and pointless. Just use recharcheables. An interesting thing about about NiMH batteries is that their end of life is not really the end of their life and a battery that no longer works in a high-drain device can be repurposed for use in a low-drain device like a remote. The internal resistance goes up, but, often the battery can still hold a full charge. Most chargers will complain about such batteries, but, a slow charger will still charge them. I have one remote control that I use the most and it has an LED backlight so it uses up batteries more quickly than other remotes. But, it is not what one considers a high-drain device and runs just fine on these older NiMH batteries. Radios usually don't draw much current and will often run just fine on older NiMH batteries as well. The trick is to find a charger that will charge them. I've got one slow (10+ hours) charger that will charge them and a couple of other chargers that try to adjust to the batteries they're given although not always successfully. The rest of the chargers complain and won't charge them.

3.4 M views , 20K likes and this video is in suggestion list but the comment section is a different story. I am sure he has a point and if you have many RC you need to change batteries quite often. Battery waste is harmful, so his idea 💡 is good 👋 except the work is not clean. Those who sell batteries will not like this video. 💔

I would rather just continue to put my batteries in the charger once every year or two. High mAh rechargeable batteries last alot longer than a toy helicopter battery.

@hls6925Ай бұрын
Total waste of effort; here in the UK I can purchase 4 (+1 free) i.e 5 Energiser Ultimate Lithium cells for £8. I need two for a TV control, that's £3.20. They're very reliable, and last about four years before needing replacement - that's 80p/year, or about 1.5p/week! Big deal. All that faffing about to save 1.5p/week. I'm an electronics engineer, and I certainly wouldn't waste my time.

to much work... why don't you use rechargeable AAA batteries without any modification on the remote?

Sure I am going to damage a perfectly working device to turn it from one power source to use another. who the hell wants to wait for their remote to recharge so they can start using it again? there was some engineering in using replaceable batteries in remotes vs rechargeable batteries. Time and the patience are a main factor in using replaceable batteries.

quite possibly the stupidest video I've ever seen, and there are a lot of dumb ones out there. Buy rechargeable batteries or a solar powered channel selector, they're cheap and a heck of a lot easier.

Remind me not to use the battery at all, apparently just change the rechargeable battery... if that's what everyone knows, not only the remote but also the wall clock uses a rechargeable battery.
