the songs popularity are different level. all the BP songs are very well known. the members are globally very popular. 100% they can attract crowd and hype crowd everywhere for sure. meanwhile aespa is just starting to promote themselves and their songs. they only have 1 mini album at that time. still a baby to compare them to BP. both groups are talented. BP performance was unconditionally impressive. they are a successful group. as a rookie group , aespa performance was also very impressive too. i personally respect 🫡 their vocals power at this point. if, they are blessed, they will survive in the entertainment industry for a long time. they are good at their job.

I think the comparisons are unfair, BLACKPINK are obviously far bigger than aespa and they deserve every bit of their success but aespa are renowned for their excellent vocal talent and flawless performances without backing, whereas BP are renowned for their excellent charisma and outstanding individuality, though I personally prefer aespa (I’m a very big fan of them) I think both groups performing at Cochella is proof that there are people who want to see both of them and absolutely proof that both of them deserved to be there.

Do open your eyes & take a look at how long ago this video was posted- 1yr ago. The Blackpink performance video wasn't from the recent 2023 Coachella, BP didn't have 7yrs of experience when they first stepped on Coachella stage. The BP performance shown in the video was during 2019 Coachella, BP debuted on August 2016, it's around 2.5 years. Aespa performance video was during 2020 Coachella, it's around 1.5 years since they debut. It's a 2.5yr group vs 1.5yr group. Clearly BP has a better stage presence, and most people prefer BP songs based on KZfaq views & Spotify streams. Did Aespa improve over the years or will they overtake BP in the future? I don't know and I won't be jealous even if they do. Many other 4th Gen girl groups have been shining with spectacular results, some of their spotify streams, album sales even overtook BP. BP won't be forever at the top but they are definitely the 3rd Gen best girl group internationally. Anyway, to each their own, everyone has different tastes, please respect that :)
