Working as a temp at a job they told me they were not going to fill. Found out yesterday they are interviewing next week for the job.... I'm not being considered for the job.

I've heard a thousand songs similar to this and Todd's Black Maria is number 1! And I'm 70 so that's saying something. Todd Rundgren is in the same category as Paul Mc Cartney in terms of being versatile musicians who can do it all. Too bad Paul doesn't give Todd a call to collaborate on a few songs.

Now that’s a twist! Thanks Mr DJ. I’m a long time fan of Todd. Kind of reminds of me of Todd’s version with his first group, Nazz!

So what's the correct title, We Gotta Get You a Woman or We Got to Get You a Woman ? I've seen it listed both ways on 45s.

"We gotta get you a woman" is clearly a humorous and bathetic send-up of 'male desire'. Well, I guess SJP and her friends aren't too awful for poetasters.

How is this the first power pop song? There were tons of songs before this that sounded like this one. This sounds like The Who or some other band like that.

Todd Rundgren must have been in a really fantastic place in his life to be able to churn out this many great songs! Who else debues with a double album? Todd! That's who! There is something magical about most of his songs. Like an essence of some kind. I honestly cannot think of any other band that produced that many greats on not one but two albums? The man was exploding with creativity and thank God for that!

Y'know, I love music until I read the comments, because there I see nothing but pretentious comments from people who think they're smarter than they actually are. Always praising the "genius" of music. I wish I could just enjoy it without having to be subjected to pretentiousness endlessly. Why are all people like this now?

Todd IS a genius, though. He's had a huge impact on music and music fans around the world.
