Fool for paying that price. I compare it to a $14 beer at a ballgame...yeah I could afford it...but I refuse to pay it. If we all did this the prices would drop. Wake up people

I just bought my first zero turn. I got the liberty z. It was 5k. I can’t believe I spent that much on a mower. I didn’t do enough research. I hate the deck adjuster on it. It’s like they just said hey we don’t even care when designing it.

Wow that’s horrible. I’m not in landscaping but I can’t imagine why anyone would even think about doing it for these prices. There is no where in America where you can live of $15k a year. Start changing what your time is worth or do something else. If I was in landscaping I wouldn’t touch a yard for less then $150. You have a couple hundred grand invested in equipment that wears out and needs periodic replacement, your busting your ass all day outside in the heat, and for what? Less then minimum wage?

was thinking about a Ram....but I bought a 23 silverado 2500 HD High Country 6.6 gas, the dealer was hounding me as I felt this trim was a bit much but i got it for 67k before TTL and GM gave 3.9% so....2024 were just coming out so they were getting rid of 23s last April......b4 this I was looking at a big horn with night edition and it was long bed...almost bought it but someone snatched it up b4 i could decide and same happened on a GMC shortly after, both were really good deals as well love the steps on bed of the truck and it has everything and then some....I dont tow but haul heavy loads and its no problem where my half ton would be way overloaded

My parents just bought a turf tiger and it's great. One thing I don't understand is why the heavy manual deck lift. My dad has issues with his legs and even for myself you have to put a lot of force to lift or lower the deck. With such a good hydraulic system why not power system?

You got something setup wrong if damp conditions cause you clumps or windrows. That looks like tall fescue like we have here and we haven't double cut anything since switching to scag velocity + deck machines 6 or 7 years ago. Engine rpm, HIGH lift blades or minimum high lift on the discharge blade and standard on the other 2 spindles. 1/4" deck pitch. Those are the 3 main things to get dialed in. Used exmark, gravely, bob-cat and wont use anything else now.

Grass is a plant with narrow leaves growing from the base. A common kind of grass is used to cover the ground in places such as lawns and parks. Grass is usually the colour 'green' Grasses are monocotyledon herbaceous Grass The parts of a grass plant The grasses include the "grass" of the family Poaceae. This family is also called Gramineae. The family also include some of the sedges (Cyperaceae) and the rushes (Juncaceae). [1] These three families are not closely related but all of them belong to clades in the order Poles. They are similar adaptations to a common life-style. The true grasses include cereals, bamboo and the grasses of lawns (turf) and grassland. Uses for graminoids include food (as grain, sprouted grain, shoots or rhizomes), drink (beer, whisky), pasture for livestock, thatching thatch, paper, fuel, clothing, insulation, construction, sports turf, basket weaving and many others. Many grasses are short, but some grasses can grow very tall. Bamboo is a grass that grows very tall. Plants from the grass family can grow in many places and make grasslands. They can also be found in areas that are very cold or very dry. There are several other plants that look similar but are not members of the grass family. They may also be called grass. These plants include rushes, reeds, papyrus and water chestnut. Seagrass is a monocot in the order Alismatales. Grasses are an important food for many animals, such as deer, buffalo, cattle, mice, grasshoppers, caterpillars and many other grazers. Unlike other plants, grasses grow from the bottom, so when animals eat grass they usually do not destroy the part that grows. [2] This is a part of why the plants are successful. Without grass, soil may wash away into rivers (erosion). Contents Evolution of grass. Graminoids include some of the most versatile plant life-forms. They became widespread toward the end of the Cretaceous. Fossilized dinosaur dung (coprolites) have been found containing grass phytoliths (silica stones inside grass leaves). [3] Grasses have adapted to conditions in lush rain forests, dry deserts, cold mountains and even intertidal habitats, and are now the most widespread plant type. Grass is a valuable source of food and energy for many animals. [4] Grass and people. Lawn grass is often planted on sports fields and in the area around a building. Sometimes chemicals and water is used to help lawns to grow. People have used grasses for a long time. People eat parts of grasses. Corn, wheat, barley, oats, rice and millet are cereals, common grains whose seeds are used for food and to make alcohol such as beer. Sugar comes from sugar cane, which is also a plant in the grass family. People have grown grasses as food for farm animals for about 4,000 years. People use bamboo to build houses, fences, furniture and other things. Grass plants can also be used as fuel, to cover roofs, and to weave basketsgrass, any of many low, green, nonwoody plants belonging to the grass family (Poaceae), the sedge family (Cyperaceae), and the rush family (Juncaceae). There are many grasslike members of other flowering plant families, but only the approximately 10,000 species in the family Poacee are true grasses. They are economically the most important of all flowering plants because of their nutritious grains and soil-forming function, and they have the most-widespread distribution and the largest number of individuals. Grasses provide forage for grazing animals, shelter for wildlife, construction materials, furniture, utensils, and food for humans. Some species are grown as garden ornamentals, cultivated as turf for lawns and recreational areas, or used as cover plants for erosion control. Most grasses have round stems that are hollow between the joints, bladelike leaves, and extensively branching fibrous root systems. It is an interesting fact that everything that surrounds people has been created by nature for humans and animals to use at own disposal. Plants and other living creatures are food for carnivores and people are no different. Everything that people survived on were plants that could be eaten and animals that had meat to be cooked. Michael Pollan takes a closer look at things that are taken for granted and describes how much people depend and at the same time, disvalue and don't appreciate what nature provides for humanity. 809 certified writers online His book titled "Omnivore's Dilemma: A Natural History of Four Meals" discusses several aspects of nature and focuses specifically on grass and what it is for animals and different people. Without grass life would have many problems, as both animals and humans very much need on it to live full lives. Expectations that society has is centered on food and that it is provided in abundance for stores and markets but how it gets there, no one wonders. The author starts out by making a very specific and acute observation that most people see grass as a unit, one entity that is a part and mostly, an insignificant piece of the environment comparing to the rest of nature's objects. Walking on it every day, an individual never really stops and thinks what grass consists of and how its life processes are carried out. Michael Pollan mentions that the majority of people do not see grass the same way a cow sees it. As cows eat it every day, they have become specialists in the kinds of grass there are and what specific ones should not be eaten. A farmer also sees grass as a part of his life because he needs it for his cows to survive and his farm to prosper. The author goes on to talk about his visit to the farm and how he was explained about the different types and strands of grass. People who are closely involved with farming are also knowledgeable about grass and how to properly grow it (Pollan, 2007). The expectations that people have towards grass and what farmers think, are very different. People want to see grass on their lawn to look pretty and to cover the mud. Farmers expect grass to be well grown and full of vitamins for their live stock. Grass is a very needed and essential part of the farm and the chain of production because so many species of animals depend on it. Grass' growth and the cows' eating habits have many "rules and laws" that surround this food type. "The law of the second bite" is an important one to keep in mind, as the cows should not be permitted to completely eat the grass down to the root (Pollan, 2007). In case this does happen, and it mostly does, the grass becomes weakened and stops growing. After the cows have taken the first bite, grass should be left alone, as it will have a chance to replenish itself and continue healthy growth. The opposite it true because if the grass is left to grow out more than it is supposed to, the area becomes too "bushy" and cannot be used for cows. A farmer, who is taking care of his animals and their food, will rotate to make sure the animals are moved to a new patch of grass and this makes for best results for grass, animals and people (Pollan, 2007). is very much surprising but grass and its quality plays a key role for animals and people. The better the grass, the more nutritious the meat and milk will be for people to consume. It is important to take care of such an important resource until it is depleted. Reference Pollan, M. (2007). Omnivore's dilemma: A natural history of four meals. New York, United States: Penguin. All living things were traditionally placed into one of two groups, plants and animals. This classification dates from Aristotle (384-322 BC), who made the distinction between plants, which generally do not move, and animals, which often are mobile to catch their food. Much later, when Linnaeus (1707-1778) created the basis of the modern system of scientific classification, these two groups became the kingdoms Vegetabilia (later Metaphyta or Plantae) and Animalia (also called Metazoa). Since then, it has become clear that the plant kingdom as originally defined included several unrelated groups, and the fungi and several groups of algae were removed to new kingdoms. The tern "plant" implies cell walls containing cellulose, and the ability to carry out photosynthesis with chloroplasts; many Plants are predominantly photosynthetic eukaryotes of the kingdom Plantae. Historically, the plant kingdom encompassed all living things that were not animals, and included algae and fungi; however, all current definitions of Plantae exclude the fungi and some algae, as well as the prokaryotes (the archaea and bacteria). By one definition, plants form the clade Viridiplantae (Latin name for "green plants") which is sister of the Glaucophyta, and consists of the green algae and Embryophyta (land plants). The latter includes the flowering plants, conifers and other gymnosperms, ferns and their allies, hornworts, liverworts, and mosses. There are about 320,000 known species of plants, of which the great majority, some 260,000, produce seeds. Green plants provide a substantial proportion of the world's molecular Oxygen, and are the basis of most of Earth's ecosystems. Grain, fruit, and vegetables are basic human foods and have been domesticated for millennia. Plants have many cultural and other uses, as ornaments, building materials, writing material and, in great variety, they have been the source of medicines and psychoactive drugs. The scientific study of plants is known as botany, a branch of biology. Most plants are multicellular organisms. Green plants obtain most of their energy from sunlight via photosynthesis by primary chloroplasts that are derived from endosymbiosis with cyanobacteria. Their chloroplasts contain chlorophyll, which gives them their green color. Some plants are parasitic and have lost the ability to produce normal amounts of chlorophyll or to photosynthesize.
