Growing up in St. Louis in the 1960s I only remember the Route 66 road signs along Gravois Road and then Chippewa which becomes Watson road passing the Ted Drewes custard stand you visited in the city and then in STL County were motels such as Coral Courts and the Park 66 Drive-in. I see your mentioning of Maplewood and Manchester Road are from an earlier routing of 66 through St. Louis. My main memory of route 66 is taking it first to Chicago to the turnpikes over to Ohio to visitt my gandparents in northeast Ohio prior to interstates 55 anf 57. We only took route 66 west of St. Louis to a restaurant called Diamonds close to St. Clair Missouri. I sure remember interstaes 55 and 44 being built in town. Good video.

@@battlefoxx Thanks for the info. My trips to grandparents on route 66 through Illinois actually started in the 1950s born in 1953. It was a two day trip with a night stay along the way to northeast Ohio. I thought it was great when we could speed up once in Chicago using the turnpikes up north. I was glad interstate 70 was buiilt for a much more direct route. I just looked it up and it appears interstate 57 was built prior to intersate 55 so I have memories there as well. I liked rising AMTRAK in the 2000s out west on the Southwest Chief and seeing the old route 66 road alongside us in Arizona and New Mexico. Very remote. I really enjoyed your video.

I had this same problem and tried your solution 7 times and it didn't work. I figured some kind of switch inside was stuck so I used the palm of my hand and beat the whole machine gently all around it. I must have loosened the stuck switch because I plugged it in and it worked perfectly.

We get them around my house. It's cool when one has babies. There's 100's of them everywhere and at first they're a fraction of the size of this little guy. They all leave pretty quickly though and don't stay around for long.

I'd previously tried to make a cat garden on my balcony with kikuyu grass, but besides him repeatedly eating grass and puking, digging it up, the sun was just too strong (southern spain in august), I noticed this plant by the beach today used for the flower bed cover, growing in awful soil in awful conditions but absolutely thriving. So I'm going to use them for my cats little balcony garden floor covering (1m squared)

Last week I saw the tiniest butterfly, less than 1/2 inch big, it landed on our house, I got close and had butterfly markings. It was the cutest little thing. I live in Southern California, in the Inland Empire area. **Two weeks ago I saw this brown looking cocoon on the other side of the house on the wall. I saw it for two days, then it was gone. I took a picture of that one. I'm seeing birds, insects and bugs I've never seen here before. I just subscribed to your channel. Thank You.

I thought I was going insane. I started noticing this a couple years ago, because I eat poptarts in a specific way. I eat the crust around them first so I can enjoy the filling inside without the dry crust. One day I noticed I had to bite more off to get to the filling. And they've been like that ever since.
