16:00 I don't think that humans have lived in Wales for 700,000 years and unable to to make a ⛵ to sail to Ireland, especially when (as she said) Ireland is visible from Wales on a clear day. Think of the way that the population could go from scarce to densely populated in 1 or 2 millennia. How could it keep growing for 700,000 years without poeple finding a way to get to much needed land. The numbers are agenda oriented. We don't have any reason to believe them.

Many ways to pronounce a name, in Ireland or abroad. I find it pronounced like O'Loglin in Ireland and we pronounce it O'Lawflin many times in the U.S. as you move west in the U.S.... Just my personal experience.

Jaysus... gents... your efforts are most admirable... but really... Mackshanull? Say it thusly: Mwhale Shocknall... that is the pronunciation. Naturally, pronunciation is not the be all/end all... but the people are Irish, the land is Irish, and the language is Irish. Shouldn't the pronunciation be as well? Less Yankee, more Celtoi.

Mike is the name Egan of origin of Ireland. My name is Christopher.I was born in Scotland in 1976 July 4th.200 years from so called American independence these days.Sorry didn’t mean to offend if you are patriot.Well Mick as you know we only get to hear the negative in mainstream.Im rambling on,so I’ll get to my point as you have a great channel and do superb work.My mothers father was Irish and her mum was Cornish. My fathers grandfather over to dig all day for a roll and a good portion ,to keep them canals getting dug.To keep the rich running the show,as always.speak up dead john Kennedy his brother Robert Kennedy.the changed Malcom x,Martin Luther king.john Lennon.Imagine all the people that knew the truth.if I let these great men could have got it out in some other way.but as you know,I think the spider has a long reach and eats the male spider when impregnated with sack fills of little spiders waiting to carry on the cycle. How do you break the cycle.puncture the tyre.sorry about that mate,I was only wanting to know a little.I understand if you skip this, I was once told from an old friend of my grannies who used to watch out for me that her name was mcglauglan, she was my fathers mother and an nurse of the poor. She had 7 mouths to feed, but she still find time for the needy.Right there a looked into her soft green eyes and said you could give your family and me so much more food. She said I should not have been brought into the catholic faith. She thought a demon had gotten to me.l was only looking out for my family.I think it’s wrong what I did man,but your guardian angel force will guide you to whatever is necessary on your path.My granny was so right,I could have went without the rabbit soup but that rabbit soup and pure dairy butter and the dunking bread into the rabbits cauldron. What a a delicious taste of our fathers heritage and his boys and girls who came after him.i would just like to say all you need is love. That is the way of the snake eating its own tail. This used to annoy me,because I could not understand it.Took a 10 day holiday mostly reading holy books in my own language,it was then that hit me.a thud in my chest,a.voice said do you want to go and find out about you said or do you want to start the other path .When he said the other path,I knew right then that this was ma guardian whatever you want to call it.But from then on I have 2great kids and a bueatifal

You do realise this song is about Irish people becoming immigrants in America ya tube. How can such irony be lost on you? 2 Million Irish people emigrated as a result of the famine. How could we be so hypocritical as to not accept immigrants here in return?

Why do we think our ancestors were primitive based on cave painting? Could it be that some random person from the ancient past painted the cave while seeking shelter? If Picasso paintings were the only thing surviving our civilization it would probably perceived by future discoverer that our art was very primitive and our eye-hand coordination underdeveloped!?

Irish, Scottish, Basque, Slavic... are all one family hence their history of defense wars, similar music, and dance, same pagan beliefs traditions...Different languages were strategically created and enforced over centuries of domination of different oppressive imperial forces.

The Black Irish? Just a wild thought: Jews, booted out of Spain. Some were sold to Muslims, who might just have sold them in Ireland. It would explain the myth of the Spanish Armada.

My family on my grand-father's side descend from Donn Carragh Maguire. There is an area from Black Lion, Ct Cavan to Belleek, Fermanagh called Clan Auley named after my clan. Nial of the nine hostages was the progenitor of the clans of Tir Connail (Donegal) and Tyrone , land of the Eonnacht( O 'Neils). The O'Cannon's and Muldory's ruled Tir Connail before the O'Donnell's. The OCannon's defeated the Muldory's for high kingship. Muldory is now a very rare name in Ireland. The last high-king of the O'Cannon's was Rory. He was successful in keeping the Vikings out of TirConnail. The O'Donnell's then controlled TirConnail for the next. 500 yrs. The name Tir Connail is named after the grand-son of Nial of the nine hostages-,Conail Gulben. There is a mountain in Sligo named after him called Ben Bulben. There were many ancient battles fought here between the Connachta and the Ulaidians The Connachta won, controlling the high-kingship of Ireland up until the last one -Rory OConnor. The surnames of McNulty and McDonlevy are descendent's of the ancient Ulaidians. The name McNulty means- son of the Ulsterman. The McDonlevy's became historians to the O'Donnell's. Another ancient Ulster surname is McGuiness, famous for the dark stout.
