I don’t have to worry about any of that. My double stack Glock 26 Gen 5 will take any other double stack Glock 9mm magazine. I don’t get those who think the double stacks are too wide. UnlessI think about it, I can easily forget I’m carrying.
@MasonsGunRoom14 күн бұрын
To each their own brother, do whatever works for you! 👍 I'm a heavier dude, so the slimer profile of the slimline Glocks is more comfortable for me. Plus, the Glock 26 fully loaded is 4 oz heavier than a fully loaded 43x. Doesn't seem like a lot extra weight, but it counts when I carry in gym shorts or sweat pants. Thanks for watching!

Make sure your torque wrench is at a 90° angle when you’re torquing the flash hider down, or else the torque spec won’t be accurate. It looked like you had yours angled a little bit but I couldn’t tell super well.

That would be nice, but I can't see that happening unfortunately. Glock is too tame in their production to try anything funky. They haven't really changed anything major in 25 years lol. Thanks for watching!

How important is it to be timed dead bottom center? What if it is off just slightly?
@MasonsGunRoom17 күн бұрын
Not extremely important, especially if it's a flash hider. Some people will time their muzzle device slightly off in the direction the body naturally fights the recoil. You'll have to play around with it and see what feels the best for you. Dead center is just general rule of thumb 👍 Thanks for watching!

Why are you slapping the mag into the gun if it's so reliable?
@MasonsGunRoom29 күн бұрын
Good question! Almost all glocks can “slam load”. While inserting a loaded magazine, you can “slam” the bottom of the magazine on your hand or a hard surface and the slide stop will release, sending the slide into battery, chambering a round. It’s not the most reliable thing but it’s a cool “feature” that most glocks and a few other companies handguns have. In this clip, I was testing if the PSA mags could do it 👍 Thanks for watching!

Instead of loctite or rockset use teflon pipe thread tape. Works great. Been using it for forty years, never had anything come loose including suppressors on full auto. Tighter add more wraps, looser add less wraps. Removal is super easy and leaves no residue.

This may have already been mentioned, when ising that torque wrench with the armorer's tool, the torque wrench should be 90 degrees from the axis of tool. Using them parallel gives you inaccurate torque measurement.
