Like those tires on the Maxx. Is the glue holding up well on them? The Sledge shocks are quite pricey though. Thanks for sharing.

The Sweep Tires 🛞 are already are glued and I never need to use glue on them, they are pretty strong. For the Sledge shocks you can build them and for me is mora cheaper if you decide to buy them already build. You would need the aluminum shock 2 of them, 2 shock shafts and 2 springs and 50 weight shock oil beside that you can reused the Maxx shocks. I like mine . I’m a couple months in to it . Running backflip lp s at the moment . The copperhead 2 s are good too . More speed , more balooning , less ah doing was the difference I noticed . I like both tires . I ll run the copperhead2 s and backflip lp s when I want more precison steering and less speed . I hardly noticed a difference on 6s but 4s is night and day

You are supposed to reuse the inner and outer bearing. The one they include goes inside, inbetween the stock bearings to give it more strength. Hence the name Triple Bearing support.

I think those big wheels are harder on the slipper clutch but the new hot racing looks very HD looks so nice man and myself id rather have a wide spur gear more contact to the pinion gear

The best thing with the Hot Racing Slipper Clutch is that is more hard to handle bigger tires or more torque with another motor without being worried that the Arrma Slipper Clutch doesn’t get loose. Thanks for the comments!

Any version of the Outcast is amazing, but the 1/5 is my favorite, Arrma in the last several years has been bringing out some amazing vehicles, they are so far ahead of Traxxas in my opinion, and I own lots of each brand.

@josephsrc I have around 35 RCs, I started with only Traxxas because that is what our local hobby shop sells, but I started buying Arrma and some Losi a couple of years ago when Horizon was offering deep discounts and I absolutely love them

I got that clutch as well with the hot racing motor case not a motor mount the while case and the slipper doesn't work with it so had to keep my older hot racing slipper clutch assembly sucks but meh

If you buy the whole part you don’t need to adjust nothing but one of the best things of these slipper clutch is that you can adjusted if you notice that is too loose. It depends on what you want to do! Hope it helps! Thanks 🙏 for the comments!

No, I just put a bit of threadlock just to hold the nut a bit better because the Hot Racing 17mm upgrade has a lock before the nut. Thanks for asking!

I also like the duratrax tires but now that horizon owns duratrax the new tires are not belted. I hope they will make belted tires soon. I want to buy some but I want the belted tires.

Kraton is my favorite car and I'm not a Arrma fan boy but i been doing so good whit arrma than traxxas,had the Xmaxx whit all u can imagine from M2C and HW combo,when back to stock, meaning all the teucknto stock and sold the Xmaxx,what a pain that truck was never run a pack complete whit out brakes something,hey just me,i got the new EXB,i regular k6 all m2c,hr and HW combo and 2 XL Kraton 6s,whit all that comes to mind.next Kraton 8s just because i need that Rc on my life,God bless u my friend and love the people that make videos not using all kind of bad words,keep it that way,blessings from Massachusetts 🤝🙏

What transmitter and Bluetooth module are you using?

The transmitter that I’m using is DX3 SMART 3-CHANNEL TRANSMITTER WITH SR315 RECEIVER. And the Bluetooth module is the Spektrum BT2000 DX3. I hope it helps. Thanks for the comment and watching the video!

The best way to check those steering knuckles is to pop of the steering rod ends and you don’t need to crank them so tight. I always do them buy a hand then tool tighten them. Then back them off and with the rod end off you can adjust them perfectly 👍🏼…

@@josephsrc you can use the drlll if you’re convenient you won’t cross thread them, but the best way to check them is to pop off the steering rod ends. Try that then you can get them set perfectly.

Armma Kraton must have went with cheaper stuff plastics and what not.... I have the 1st gen Kraton and I bash the living hell out of it and everything is still solid and tight..... only thing I broke was the wing mount I put rpm a arms and wing mount and replaced a few bearings that seized up but over all nothing crazy

The Kraton 6s and Outcast 6s are similar to the Kraton 8S, the only difference is the size and the second lock but everything else is the same. Thanks for the comment and watching the video!

Hi Thanks for asking the wing mount is from the previous Outcast 4S and in order to put in your granite you will need to cut the body on the rear just a little bit to fit with the wing mount and the rear wing. If you have any questions please let me know. Hope it helps!

I got the front and rears and never looked back!!! Little pricey but worth it especially with the carbon fiber it's way worth it!! Never had any problems with any hot racing parts EVER!!

I got talked into a set of these for my K5 by my local hobby shop. It's one of the reasons why people shop online instead of going to their local brick and mortar businesses. It's got to be one of tne dumbest RC purchases I've ever made. Absolutely useless, ridiculously heavy, awful steering tires that will kill the speed and stress ALL the components of the vehicle. Sorry.

One of the problems that I noticed in a lot of Arrma RC is that in the steering Arrma uses bushings instead of bearing I remember that I put a powerful servo and it doesn't work because of the bushing of the stearing so all my Arrma RC I put bearings and all of them work perfect even with heavy tires. room means rpm. i bought the bluetooth adapter and did all the traxxas link up dates etc. it showed the temp but at any % of the trigger the rpm and mph needle spikes to max and doesnt read properly.@@josephsrc

@@swinkdaddy got you. My XMAXX came with the telemetry all ready installed. I bought this truck 2 years ago and I can see the RPM, speed, temperature and everything. You can check with Traxxas directly to solve the issue. Hope it helps!

With the bigger tires like the Lockups and Banditos, I can't get close to full throttle at 100% throttle on my Vorteks. Even with 75% throttle it tries to stand up too much on grippy terrain. With stock tires I had mine up to 55mph and was able to get the throttle all the way down at 100%. But I haven't been able to get a clean run with the better tires cause you have to keep letting off the throttle to let the front come back down.
