I remember this! It was isaiah when was making landfall in the philadelphia region. This occurred back when I was still 9. A tropical storm I will not forget. I lost power until 6:45pm that day.

Yes. First it was the ball drop to 2000 in Times Square NYC. And then, the fireworks at Penn's Landing in Philadelphia. Many people in this area enjoying the fireworks shows after 2000 arrived on the east coast. But, they can hardly see it at the sky because of the fog almost blocking the view, but it ain't bad. Also at 59:28, it uses that same music as the ABC 2000 Millennium coverage from ABC News that it first used in the opening intro at 4:30am Eastern time back on December 31, 1999.
