Nope. We moved in together to a 1BR condo my husband bought pre-selling before then I pitched in with the turnover fees in 2022 when we got married. In 2024, that’s when we bought a bigger property as our future home, then the current condo we’re living in we’ll put up for rent. :)

Actually ang nakakamahal sa kasal ay hindi naman ang church. Dito nga sa amin 1500 pwede ka ng ikasal. Ang nakakamahal talaga ay yung gusto ng mag asawa like venue, food, wedding car, entourage, ring, dress, etc. in fact hindi naman nagsabi ang church na magpa bongga kayo.

Parang eto ung sakin got anxiety gosh from extrovert to introvert i really want to marry my parter pero takot po ako sa sobrang daming tao ang tanda na namin ng partner ko na o overwhelmed ako sa mga napapanood ko wedding andami tao . Pwede pala un takot kasi ako baka un nga mga invite ko ma stress ako mashado baka di magsipunta kasi busy pero meron ako mga sure na dadating ung mga real na real na real friends fear ko talaga mga ceremony 😢 ung tipong professional ka sa work wala ka takot sa work pag dating sa mga ceremony takot na takot ako .

I like her explanation of satisfying vs suppressing the inner child. I did a lot of work in the last year and am in a much better place. Books like "30 Days to Stop Being a Shopaholic" by Harper Daniels and other meditation books got me into a great state of mind. The answer isn't just to stop spending (because we need to spend in our society) but to listen to our inner child and observe our thoughts and feeling without judgement and without shame.
