@@staysmallrc Thanks Staysmall, its definitely a cool scale item if your a scale guy. I'm going to be working on bringing it up in size by widening it and adding some larger wheels and tires but its pretty close to being scale accurate with the rc4wd scale trucks. Thanks for watching

@@staysmallrc I actually found the horns about 2 minutes ago lol! This interior is the rc4wd Xtra cabs interior it comes with, I just did a lot of custom work and additions to it. The pew pew rack is actually from Axial, the pew pews are ones I've had from various stuff that I've modified and scaled out with wood grain details

@@NEO-RC Thanks, its pretty spot on compared to the rc4wd stuff size wise, it would look dumb behind like the trx4 stuff because they are so huge. I will be doing a cheap build on it later needs bigger tires and a better esc and 3S power, probably some plumbers putty in the diffs as well

@@NEO-RC No its a cheap easy way to semi lock thr diffs so when it really gets into a bind tight it will still let the diffs unlock when needed. Lot of these smaller scale Rc's if you lock the diff completely itll strip your ring and or pinion gears because this doesn't have an adjustable slipper clutch. It's a very old school way we used to lock the rear on our 4wd race trucks way back in the day so you could get it to drift some when racing on asphalt tracks.

@RcDungeon that's what I thought! I am saving the fms rtr wheels and tires from the mashigan and Atlas for a logging trailer. Triple axle... They have to be useful somehow! Big hopes for this Atlas!

Instead, just used some electrical tape to fix the motor wobble issue.

Yah I got the c bubs to work, my trx4 has completely different portal housing so not sure how that worked for ya? Even the hex and stub axle location is different on my HB. Maybe difference in HB models possibly? I know you can swap literally everything to a Trx4 portal housing though over and it'll work.

That coffee intro literally had making some coffee 😂 Good haul there, I really like those megalithic tires and they work well with the Injora silicone inserts except they’re a little small diameter wise. They say the tires are 4.75 but they really like 4.77. I recommend the SL3D squid inserts because they are made for the size of the megalithic (1.9x111mm). Those diff covers for the trx4 look bad ass. Nice parts! Great video!

@@NEO-RC Thanks Neo, I noticed the size difference and figured that might be a difference. Only problem I have with the 🐙 is they are $50.00 and I'm cheap lol! I just hate paying lot on the end for a 3D part but thats just my opinion I used to get deals on the YZZR but now I guess he's not doing them anymore. @@RcDungeon the little gap between the tire and the injora silicone inserts isn’t that bad and I’m still running the silicone inserts on my ascent with the megalithic and they do really good. Those SL3D are pricey, totally get that. I’ve had really good results with 3D inserts but some foams on certain tires do the magic, just gotta find what works best. 👍

@@NEO-RC yah I'm really a huge supportor of inserts over foams now, I've blowed so much money on foams to be do disappointed in the past. Every single tire I've slapped thise silicone into has been a tremendous improvement, most will have little play between the tire and the insert though no big deal to me my 3D have the same issue because you don't have a foam pushing and filling the entire tire. I may actually give the Squids a go I haven't bought any other 3D ones for awhile. Thanks for the info

You know RC dungeon the tracks machine. Couldn't you just repinion? The motor gear would it give you the punch that you need.

@@kevinbreaker2683 Oh yah you could definitely pinion up to higher gearing but just buying the 1800kv would put you spot on IMO for the Trx4 without changing anything then you would have the added benefit of the extra KV wheelspeed as well as the throttle control on all your stock stuff. We just outfitted this one with the 1200KV because we wanted both trucks to have no benefit of one or the other same motor and whatever stock they come with out of the box.

Great to see comparison between the two. When swapping the wheel hex look at going a touch longer to give a wider stance as we find on yhe hb1001 a little narrow which makes it tippy for side roll. Tr4 diff cover fits as we put brass one on ours. Keep up the great work 👍

@@DaddyDaughterRC-sw2zb Yes, mainly found the difference is in the portal part of the axles. I broke that down in the axle video I did for this model. Thanks for watching and thanks for the info as well. I've swapped over to aluminum hex once I figure out my wheels and tires I'll figure out what wheel hub and or offset I want, I kinda like the tire tuck on this little more scale accurate.
