for your focus tree i do rhineland then then rush the industry to integrated economy to get romania and hungary in my faction. no need to rush anchluss with bad templates,while you do the industry focuses you can make decent infantry dvisions that you can use later on poland and benelux. never try to push from Alsace-Lorraine (the border you have with france when you start) they have level 10 forts (-150% attack penalty)

some solutions and suggestions: 1. To change what you use your research slot for, just click on what you want to do and a change research interface will come. 2. Follow this building sequence at start: first build 1 infra each on rhineland and moselland followed by max civs on both, then 1 infra each on niederschlesien and oberschlesen followed by same, then 1 infra each on wurttemberg and obabayern followed by same. This is practically the best setup and after this make a few more civs and then make mils. Also do not make infrastructure anywhere else as u get it through focus tree. 3. For spamming for anchluss, instead make a new template with only one 1 infantry, and nothing else, and keep spamming this. This will be far cheaper and faster as then just immediately deploy it and change it to a heavily manpower consuming template which you can get by updating a template you dont use to be very thick. To get the army exp just train them constantly and send volunteers to nationalist spain and an attache. 4. Never cancel mefo bills as it gives a huge buff to economy and construction. Also dont attack anyone early if you're playing the long game as it gets removed on declaration. 5. Also, if you are going to early declare declare on dutch as you get rubber for aeroplanes and you should wait for the war goal for poland through focus tree as then uk cant guarantee in most cases. 6. Make collaboration governments with soviets using intelligence agency so you can capitulate faster

Yeah as someone who play Hoi4 the more you'll play as easy nations, the more you'll learn and the more you'll be able to play as other minor nations. yeah it takes a bit of time to learn the game but that's like this for most Paradox Games. But i would like to also see Hoi4 in your channel along side RON (also for technologies it's best at the start to prioritize, the first engineering and production and construction techs, so you can build more factories and such and i'm quite new myself so i still have stuff to learn myself)
