I live Lionel as a trombone player. His tone is so beautiful, I am so close to achieving it. If anybody has any tips on reaching it I would appreciate
@trombonist-bo6yi28 күн бұрын
breathing, long tones, listen to great players and attempt to emulate their sound. A lot of listening is very important. Also, try to get a good warm up routine, like the Alessi warm up and maintenance routine. You can find it for free online. Don't use the Scribd version. Getting a tone like Lionel's takes discipline, time and consistency. Try practicing every single day. Don't go for 100 days in a row at once; rather, try going ten days practicing every day, then fifteen, then twenty, and soon enough you will have been practicing for a year. Cultivate your love for music by listening to different music as well, and try to surround yourself with other great musicians.
