Early in this video you were confused about the names because you were looking at Park JiEun. She is no longer with the group sadly but you will see here in earlier MV's like Heart Skip, Can we Talk, etc. There is just so much great stuff to suggest but a few that are less suggested are, Yuki and Chaein doing a cover of Vegas by Doja Cat. The "Purple" in Purple Kiss represents the variety of 'colors' of the individual members. Something that is often missed in "Can we talk again" is the context of the song. They are reflecting the various 'colors' of dealing with a break-up from indifferance, acceptance, devastation, rage, insane sadnes. Very enjoyable reaction! I'll have to check out Chaeyon. Looking forward to that, she sounds good. I checked her cover of this and it's very nice. It doesn't show any amazing skills, but neither does Sejeong's version, other than that signuature climactic gliss. This song is really good, but Sejeong's skills are way more than what she shows in this song. Oh yeah! I commented on your last Purki video, but forgot to mention one other thing! The girls appeared predebut in ONEWE’s MV “End of Spring” along with ONEUS and AleXa. They were backup dancers for live performances as well. I’d love to see you check that out! Purple Kiss started out with 7 members and they were originally going to debut in the fall of 2020 but Swan went on hiatus for health and so she doesn't appear in My Heart Skip a Beat. They were seven up through Nerdy but then Jieun left (health issues) so now they are 6. MHSaB was choreagraphed by Chaein, Dosie and Ireh including camera placement. Chaein became my bias in the scene where she attacks the chain at 3:17 in your vid. Also they've said that MHSaB is their red element and Can We Talk Again is their blue element so they combine to purple and their first mini-album was Into Violet. I'll avoid repeating my recs from last vid and give you some of their awesome covers. Chaein and Ireh doing a dance and vocal cover of Ariana Grande's Break Up With Your Girlfriend. Swan doing a mash up of No Time to Die and Skyfall. The group doing a relay dance of Exo's Overdose, Chaein, Swan and Goeun (3 main vocals) doing Billie Eilish's Bury a Friend, The whole group doing a vocal and dance cover of Kai's Mmmh (during this vid they switch whether there are backing vocals or even a back track or not demonstarting just how solid they are are), Chain and Yuki doing a cover of Doja Cat's Vegas, and there is plenty more but I'll stop now. Congrats on seeing them live, I'm sure you had a great time. The one you seemed to be most taken with is Dosie one of the main dancers and vocalists (all 6 are main vocals or vocals). I hope you will do more reactions to them. You might consider album reactions as their b-sides are flawless. You said you watched Sweet Juice, which is my favorite, so other MVs to watch in particular My Heart Skip a Beat, Can We Talk Again (both predebut), the Halloween version of Zombie (song is remixed the choreo is reworked and the horror is turned way up), Pretty Psycho, Love is Dead, Nerdy. A set that needs explaining. Every one of their first 5 mini albums includes an intro track for which there is a video they are all short but are thematically linked to the title tracks and are awesome. Crown, Freaky Pury (expanded into Pretty Psycho), Illusion, Bye Bye Bully, and Save me. They are very involved in creation as well as performance. Yuki writes most of her raps (she's Japanese so it's in her second language), All of them have song writing and/or composition credits. Chaein in particular has written a number of my favorite b-sides. They have also choreographed a number of their songs. Their dance practices are also fantastic as are many many excellent covers.
