Patchwork (I've decided) is my new aesthetic! My goblin heart adores anything scrappy. I may just add some random buttons or bells or embroidery or tassels.

Hi, I've only recently come across these fabulous looking Wonderbags!! My only question is about the type of fabric you use! Is there any difference between using 100% cotton or using polyester fabric? I have tons of cotton fabric, but never buy polyester because of the plastic involved!! I'd be grateful for your thoughts or guidance :0)

This video was a lifesaver! I couldnt find anything that gave exactly this ANYWHERE on the internet. Also, just wonderjng, about how big should the fabric squares be?

I'm using an old feather (down) duvet. Here in south central Texas, USA, it's usually way too hot to sleep under a feather 'decker', except if you have the air conditioner on high!

I was told that with dresses/skirts to let them hang for 24 hours before hemming it as the bias will stretch so if I cut it without hanging first it will be uneven

There was a time when our dryer was in the storage building in the backyard. I forgot to get my close during the day so went at night. I walked through a spider web and when I flipped the light on inside the building, there were 2 big black spiders on my legs. 😐 I tore the pants off and ran back into the house. The pants were outside so long, they weathered, a stayed untouched until my mom thought to throw them away. TRAUMA!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 You look so Beautiful. Awesome Dress. Chef's Kiss ❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥 Congrats on Graduating 💯❤🔥

Hello Tiva Green🥰, In the world of fashion, sustainability is becoming increasingly important. Consumers are looking for ways to reduce their environmental impact, and designers are responding by creating innovative and stylish garments made from recycled or waste materials. One such trend is the use of waste organic materials to create beautiful and sustainable dresses. Your Dress made from waste organic materials offer a number of benefits. First, It's an eco-friendly choice, as they help to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfills. Second, It's often made from high-quality materials, such as dandelion stems, sweet corn husks and banana peels, which is soft, breathable, and durable. Third, It is an incredibly stylish, with unique textures and patterns that make them stand out from the crowd. Your fiber dress was simple and elegant, and it flattered, also well-made. Overall, Your fiber dress was very impressive with the dress made from waste organic materials. It is a sustainable, stylish, and high-quality garment that I would recommend to anyone. dularaATgmail.com

Wonderful tutorial. Can cotton batting or wool be used for the stuffing? I do lots of DIY fabric projects and all the scraps go to the local shelter for the kitties as toys, bows or decorative collars.

Sorry, I'm new to sewing, and I wanted to clarify, in the last skirt you first made a regular seam, and then made a French seam? I don't really understand:(( I'm hoping for your answer!!🧡🌻🌻
@tivagreen65510 ай бұрын
No worries! we all start somewhere! In the first skirt i did regular seams as the inside was lined with another fabric so you wouldn't see them. A French seam hides the raw edges and stops them from fraying, (search up how to sew french seams on youtube if want clear instructions on how to sew them!) This helped make the last skirt lighter because i could leave out the lining! hope this helps and let me know if you have anymore questions! :)
