I had the privilege of being at that game, and was likewise privileged to be sitting on the first-base side. We got to watch the President in the press-box with HC for the first 3 innings. It was a remarkable game, too. The Cubs were ahead by 10 runs by the bottom of the 8th and wound up losing 12 to 11 in 12 or 13 innings.

These mad old ads bring back so many childhood memories: I used to sing the “Mean Mr. Clean” jingle (with different lyrics) about my strict 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Green - “…she hates kids!” That really broke ‘em up in the lunchroom!
