Very good Burlington Northern documentary I like the Burlington Northern of the 1970s. It was a lot simpler back then.

What did the modern North American Burlington Northern Railroad long sturdy diesel electric freight trains do to carry their freight from 0:00 to 26:13?

I'm pretty sure the voice-over in the Curad ad was Ken Nordine (of "Word Jazz" fame).

I had the privilege of being at that game, and was likewise privileged to be sitting on the first-base side. We got to watch the President in the press-box with HC for the first 3 innings. It was a remarkable game, too. The Cubs were ahead by 10 runs by the bottom of the 8th and wound up losing 12 to 11 in 12 or 13 innings.

A cowboy with an airplane instead of a cow? And a Peter Pan peanut butter jar with a girl on the label? The 1950's were more progressive than today

These mad old ads bring back so many childhood memories: I used to sing the “Mean Mr. Clean” jingle (with different lyrics) about my strict 3rd grade teacher, Mrs. Green - “…she hates kids!” That really broke ‘em up in the lunchroom! For the rest of the school year I was Mrs. Green’s mortal enemy. Wherever you are, I’m sorry Mrs. Green.

A lot of those old kodgers were most likely there in the winter of '38 when it really dumped! This is when men were men, drank whiskey at work, not like these twinks today who have the wife drive!!

Boldman should have had his own comic-book series after his TV catoon commercial debut aa well as his own animated series this side of Spider-Man, Batman, Superman, who already had their own Saturday morning aninated adventures back then! Let's see what happens in 2024 should Boldman return with a Saturday morning TV cartoon show and his own comic-book series by then!

Ronald Reagan was a B movie actor, the 33rd Governor of California and the 40th President of the United States of America. Here in his final year in office, he sits with another American icon, The Great Harry Caray! That's America for you. May they both rest in peace.

I think it's awesome that when the president was in the dugout shaking hands, none of the players even mentioned anything about trans rights. People had a lot more respect in those days.

Does anybody know if Regan's visit was announced in advance? The seats look pretty empty for a game with the president making an appearance.

Hate to say the Pringles people are wrong, but I've never seen a can of Pringles chips that didn't have some broken chips in it when it was opened. Some breaking is inevitable during the shipping process.

The blonde haired woman in the Bold commercial at 21:32 looks like the late Maggie Peterson (Charlene Darling from The Andy Griffith Show), but I'm not sure if it's her. Then you have Phil Silvers for Pream non-dairy coffee creamer, with Robert Strauss (Animal from Stalag 17) as the cop. House Peters Jr. plays the live action Mr. Clean.

13:33 - Talk about rewriting history. In fact, barbeque goes back to slaves in the deep South. Hence the image on the label of the can. Nothing whatsoever to do with Smith and Pocahontas, or any other Native Americans.
