Talked about this with our American next door neigbour. Class is a real thing in the US too. Accent, schooling, etc...the same integers apply there. As they do in Spain, France...indeed anywhere. People like to fetishize this aspect of the UK as exceptional. It's not.

My press is a KEFU. It bears no resemblance to yours other than the fact that it has a sizer plate and the tiny metal clip you replaced at the bottom. That metal clip fell out whilst I was trying to reassemble, but I can't find where if came out from. Maybe if I knew what it does, I'd know where to reattach it. The video itself isn't up to standard. One can hardly see what you're doing... One thing I know is that these presses are a pain in the neck!!!!
