These are all beautiful! You are very talented ❤ But, I was wondering, do you ever leave them without the glaze, just the raw beginning colors, or can you even do that? I was just wondering, because I honestly don't know if the glaze is necessary or not because I don't know how to do any of this ❤

@@jerrib.1748 thank you so much! And that’s a good question. Yes, it could be left unglazed and fired that way with just the stains and Underglaze. It would have more of a matte/dry/chalky/rough look. But the clay would be fully vitrified. I prefer the glazed finish myself, but there are endless possibilities in ceramics, and all are interesting 😊

@@NiamulPepul these are ceramic stains and underglazes- since i use ceramic clay fired in a kiln, these pigments can withstand the high temperature of the kiln

@@YUNAGAHA if you have a pottery class near you, that’s a great place to start. Finding a local ceramics class is always best because ceramics requires a lot of instruction, materials, and must be fired in a kiln. And if not, I have step-by-step tutorials here on my KZfaq channel VuvuCeramics using air dry clay
