I have this also with the same scope and a Howa Mini-action I mounted in a Boyd's At-One Thumbhole stock and an AR with a 20" barrel. Really love the Grendel. This is a 5/8x24 Thread on mine. It works with my can without an adapter. Really accurate overall and the trigger on mine is about 2 lbs. I loaded rounds with BLC2 which did very well from the short barrel.

@@MrTacklebury awesome. I cannot wait til November to try to get a deer with it. This is the only fun ima carry this season I think and don’t get me started on the howa mini action. That thing is a lazer. I bought the 6.5 Grendel for my kids for bullet size and recoil or lack of I guess and I have found myself in a position now that it is one of my very favorite rounds. It so fun to shoot

I Just got one just Like yours. i had to get the Maple grade 3 it shoots great . it was very hard to find (meaning the Maple grade )

I had to call around places to find this one when I did and I actually found it at Budsgunshop but it wasn’t listed online, they just happened to have it in the store. I have another video of the matching sa-22 in maple as well. Had hard time finding that one too. Love the maple browning! Enjoy yours!!

Lol I assume that what the comment meant about nursing home attitude because my voice changed and sounded a little rough when the fish wiggled. When ya got a fish spur poking in ya hand it’s hard not to sound that way lol. They prolly never experienced that. Thanks for watching!

I keep listening on all these Grendel videos for someone to spec a 1:9 twist barrel, Most are 1:8 twist of the few that I’ve heard mentioned.

@@wwaldok mine is 1:8 twist. I don’t know that I have seen a 9 twist in any 6.5 except the old 260 Remingtons. They may be out there though. I also have two 260 rems and they are 8 twists as well. I’d say you could probably get a custom barrel with 9 twist but that may get rid of any 140 grain option but with Grendel I guess that would t really matter much.

Completely wrong if you ask me because if your kid is going to do it ain’t nothing that could stop it. There are horrible parents who get taken care of and great parents who go to a home. And there’s nothing wrong with this dad as far as I can tell in the video.

That smallie was laying those spurs right in my hand as that was happening. I ignore that comment anyhow, cause my boys know everything I do is for them even when I am a little rough on em, they know it’s for their own good. Thanks for watching

Bought this exact BSA Edge 2-7x28 Pistol Scope for my Rossi Brawler 45LC/410. Bought a couple boxes of HSM Pro-Hunter 45LC 300gr JSP to try & take a deer or hog with it at much closer ranges of 35 yds & inwards.

@@davidpowers1175 I’m certain that fish is A ok. Quit picking apart everything on the internet. If it weighed several pound then I agree prolly don’t wanna hold it that way. It weighs an ounce or two. It’s body weight probably didn’t effect it all all. That fish is fine and unharmed

@@bigtoad45 3 times is to make the target dense with shot to see where the densest area is. 1 shot could be a fluke but 3 shots on target will show you a better view of the shot on paper

@@codymelvin5633 do exactly like I did in this video. This rifle did as well and the light rust inside is what was hanging them and after doing this it fired them and ejected them all flawlessly

How have the 120 BT's performed for you? I have used 100BT and lost 2 deer. The 125 partition was a bang flop though. I think the heavy's are a little better terminal performance versus a speedy round that just zips through.

The 120s have mushroomed perfect for us and gave a clean pass through at 2500 fps out out Grendel rifle. I have a couple boxes of 100s as well that ima try in a cva Grendel pistol and they are right at 2500 from 14” barrel and hopefully they perform well. I will say the 120 performed bang flop from my 260 Remington but that’s between 2900-3000 velocity so quite bit faster velocity.

@@bcoutdoorsmedia Good to know, thanks. I run 103 ELDX at 3100 out of my 6GT and it is devastating on deer. Speed helps when there is plenty of it. The Grendel AR is a bit easier to carry into the woods though being 10-lbs lighter and I want to use it more.

I feel the same way about my Howa 1500 mini, and a deer load. Keep it simple, under MOA works just fine. I find 120 Nos. BT's are very accurate in mine also. I do 3-5 shot groups also.
