Wow, some of these comments are border line abusive. These are pretty accurate. If one googles the 10 prettiest towns in Ontario, all these town turn up. maybe one or two aren't on here. So if your crappy town is not on this list don't get your panties in a twist. Get a life.

Yes, Hilton Falls is a really nice provincial park. True, easy hike. But in summer, like most parks, the mosquitos come out in full force. So take your bug spray.

Number 10 and number 9 - he only shows the water -- Zero part of the town. Number 8 and 7 we actually see the town. Number 6 - back to just showing the water. Number 5, we get to see the town. number 3, 2, 1 we see the towns.

All of the towns mentioned are five or more hours away from the Capital City of Ottawa. Maybe you could plan to explore eastern Ontario. We have beautiful towns and villages around here too.
