theres not really cannibal proof bases in this game. Sadly this games has no reason to be full launch as its still in horrible early access state. The reason there are no safe bases other then building with bugs is because mutants and cannibals will just spawn in ur base and wreck it all in seconds. But if they make fix it instead of just slapping the title full release on a game thats still in early access state maybe it will be good.

How much has this changed since this vid? My gear says it has both lucky waters and fishing colossus and the legendary quested pole so Im not sure how much luck I have edit: I guess I cant have too much luck though because I just caught a hake which is common. Probably should look into fishing trophies.

Is it any good singleplayer too? I recently played Grounded and loved it, and this sounds rather similar, and the thrall system sounds amazing too. Just not sure if it's balanced around being done solo since you're talking about playing on a server.

how is there multiple same armor sets with different perks ?? (new player since a couple days) they give the same armor a different name and perk ? like for example the survivalist and armor of asura ... same set .. same with the light and durable light ... i dont get it ?

This would have been a great, really useful guide if you had only told us where "you can climb the mountain here" actually was. Anyway, I went up the path, steps and so on, eventually got to a place called "severed visage" with what looks like some huge doors but they are closed with no obvious way to open them so I guess for now we can't get at this boss. Unless someone knows different?

Great video for a set I really want to farm for transmog! However, there is one significant change: Viridulon the Rootbound (the tentacle boss for the pants) does not sit still and take it any more. It'll move down the stairs to get line of sight on you, and if it can't because you duck behind the wall, it'll reset. So expect more of a struggle with that in Season 4 if you're solo farming. Ambusti drop rate for those mobs is still terrible. No surprise.

2 years later and this is incredibly helpful. I just kept seeing video after video about using trophies to boost the gear score of crafted items, finally found where the minor versions are but couldn't figure out how to get the major +5 bonus. I guess in some ways its good New World doesn't show every single type of crafting recipe but needing to get the right item and have it on you is frustrating because I probably have some of these key items that show the crafting recipe in a different storage shed cause I didn't understand what they were good for
