The solution is to install updraft diverters on the output of those condensing fans.

I'm still not getting why the metering device is on the outdoor condenser. Are they controlling it off the condenser? The return from the evaporator? Or some federal guideline just implemented?

I bet all that was done at night so no one can see the cloud of gas when they cut the coils.

They must've had a large crew up there ripping them apart. Could've got caught too. It happens alot to abandoned buildings.

I realize they should have been arranged as to no discharge into each other to begin with, but could they put some diagonal sheets of something (coroplast, whatever) between them?

So much energy consumption with all the HVAC, so much space on the roofs, so much sun. And not one photovoltaic facility. Energy is still way too cheap it seems.

Well Arizona ain't got all the stupid people. Doing a Aaon start up in southwest Missouri and 3 LG 's ductless less than 2' apart. Fortunately the Distributor that I was working for also sold the LG's and are all over the installing company.

Surprising to see those nonwhite flat roofs in AZ., imagine the heat rising from those colored decks! Great in the winter if they are heat pumps but not so much in the summer. Anyone with a boat would only make the mistake once of getting anything other than stark white upholstery! The first unit in those rows is going to work great and last allot longer! I would bet that if you checked in a year from now they will all be slanted at 45 degrees, probably the quickest and easiest thing to do at this point. If they are heat pumps they will suffer in the winter too.

Love it! There are still advantages for vertical discharge units, but the cost difference is pretty substantial for the ductless horizontal units. I know Carrier is pushing their 38MURA Carrier/Midea units and the price is pretty substantial (less). They seem to be pretty good, but not sure how they withstand our desert highs. They do use liquid line cooling on the inverters so that is a plus.

I wish i could see the first guy who shows up for overpressure faults, you could watch him with the drone pulling his hair and hear hom cursing the installer all the way to the remote control I wonder how far the faults will travel down the large stack of units, whoever got the first one is sitting pretty.

Come June and July when they are all running at once. 🔥🔥🔥 At the dorm I referred to in the video I had one blowing towards another (not anything this bad) and the air temp feeding the 2nd unit was over 130. This generally causes over current faults.
