Xander Parish fled Russia, the country to which he owes his career. Likely, without any knowledge of the history, events and players that led to the Ukraine War. (It was not Putin who started this war.). For that, for me, he's not up there anymore among my favorite dancers. Interestingly, he subsequently organized a gala for escapees in the US, the country that is 100% responsible for the Ukraine War.

Yana Selina Second Soloist is an amazing dancer and teacher 😍 and here at @ 35:34 Selina bends forward and bends her left knee ❤️ at the same time as she slides her straightened right leg slowly to the rear ❤. At @ 49:13 Viktoria Tereshkina the beautiful and extraordinary 'Best Paquita' dancer ever ❤️ 💙! Thank you all to the great Mariinsky dancers and to Xander Parish and E Baeva. And to the amazing 'collaborative pianist' Gennady Merkulov too. And thanks much 😊 to @ MariinskyEn for sharing.

Ottima la figuralita ' espressa nella morte del cigno. Ottima la fibrillazione dei passi sulle punte in eundo e l'apporto del corollario danzante che rende praesens e vitale una movimentazione armonica ed aggrazziata. MOLTO BRAVI. BIGHIN GIULIO RENZO

Quite interesting and a pleasure to gain insight from this discussion. My one point of concern is the degree of admiration expressed for dancers who dance through and with injuries. I can understand the sentiment but ballet in particular , even when compared to modern dance, places enormous stress on the body. I think it unwise to dance with an injury or immediately following surgery. All that being said I have a great appreciation for what these dancers do. Their bravery and honesty were remarkable. And their sense of camaraderie and support for each other was noticeable as well. So many thank yous! I was a professional modern dancer and still love the art form. Just taking class is a pleasure. Great to see these dancers in class and listen to them in this setting as well. Bravo!

"The thing I like is his inner expression. A minimum of actual physical movement, rather inner strength in the sound and in his fingers! Today, many performers striver for external effects, for epatage, the emotions come through movement. Here you see immediately that he is a pianist of the old school. For him, everything that exists flows through sound. Externally he is not remotely concerned."

instead of complaining redundantly why don't you read comments and chat and follow one of the many links provided to version of stream without commentary, in main channel. let people who enjoy commentary watch this stream, you go to one without commentary.

@@sitting_nut When one clicks on to any particular link, it is to watch what is written on it. One doesn't immediately start searching for other possible versions. As for the English comments, they could be limited to translating what the ballet mistress says in Russian. Those who watch such videos are mostly "ballet buffs" interested in the way in which dance classes are conducted in various companies...

@@Coucoutchicou presumptuous much? why did you presume your narrow expectations and prejudices are common to all ( or even majority of) viewers of these videos? and why did you presume other viewers are too lazy (like you) to follow the links ( which btw can be found without any searching) to a version that suits their expectations? if spoiled lazy person with narrow prejudices, like you, don't like this video, you are free to not watch it. others unlike you are free to watch it, and even show gratitude. you are also free to express your narrow nature , we are also free to call you out on it.
