You need to unattached the bottom of the seat belt and reattach it to the lower part of the swivel mechanism, which remains static, passenger and driver.

Everything has been attached properly with all new brackets that came with swivel bases, including the handbrake and seat belts!

Yes, you are right! I had the holes drilled through and bolts in place, I just needed help doing the bolts up from underneath the van! They’re all solid and went through the MOT without any hiccups! 🤘🏻

Did u fix the wooden frame to the ceiling for the vent first before screwing the vent into place from the top?

Hello, thanks for the comment, so I just had someone hold it into place for me, then I screwed from above and sandwiched it to the roof! I did also put some sikaflex on the frame so that it would also adhere to the roof itself and stop any potential rattling sounds later on!

Great build series so far but you could do with investing in a microphone as your volume keeps changing so the further away you are from the camera the harder it is to hear you

220k unfortunately. Van had plenty of problems when I got it, full Mercedes history up until 181k then just a bunch of invoices. I know these engines can go high miles if they are looked after alright!

@@2508883bd bud, I’ve worked with vans before for a living and seen loads sell off of a forecourt with 350-400k miles still for £4-5000 still! And I’m sure I’ve seen, and heard that they have like a million mile timing chain, so.. go get one, and enjoy it!!👌🏼

Don't rely on the rivnuts for the roof bars. Run a bolt all the way through with a spreader plate on the inside like the ladder.

Looks alright, much better than mine. I did mine with CombiColor and an electric sprayer, looks proper dodgy in some areas but I think I'll eventually get round to wet sanding it and polishing..

Thanks for the comment firstly! It looks ok head on, on all sides just at an angle you can see the roller marks. I was thinking of getting an electric sprayer or getting a cheap spray gun and if it clogs or brakes then hey ho it was cheap anyway, and get a friend to do the spraying! The future will tell! I love the colour and look tho! 😈🤘🏻
