For someone thats looking to get his first Livescope, basically for ice fishing only, usually sets up in one spot, maybe will move but definitely not a run-n-gun style fisherman, do you feel the Summit Pole will be plenty good enough or would i need to spend the extra for Arclab like many are saying? Thanks!
@ReelAmericanOutdoors
@ReelAmericanOutdoors 5 сағат бұрын
If you don't plan on running to multiple spots too much than the summit pole should be sufficient. If you plan on moving a lot I would definitely upgrade.

I'm glad you made this video because I've been arguing with myself about getting another case 1981 210 to go with the one that I already have. And my reasoning for this is because the mower deck is such a big to-do when it comes to removal and installation. All of the different pins and springs have made it so frustrating that I figured it would make more sense to just keep the deck on the tractor I have and get another one without a deck on it. But obviously it wouldn't be that practical. If it were easier for me to install and remove the deck from the one that I currently have, then I might not have to go with buying another tractor. Because in all honesty, (I don't have anywhere to put another one).
@ReelAmericanOutdoors
@ReelAmericanOutdoors 5 ай бұрын
Rock on! Yeah, space considerations always play into getting another tractor but sometimes you gotta make room:) good luck!
@SteelCowGirl4Ever
@SteelCowGirl4Ever 5 ай бұрын
@@ReelAmericanOutdoors so obviously I have the drive over option. My tractor is not the same year as this one, but I'm pretty sure in another video I saw that you could place ramps around the deck to stabilize it. And for easy removal and installation, you could simply drive up over it and back. I feel like that would be the easiest way for me versus dragging it out from underneath and then placing it back under. I'm a lady that is a petite 126 lb and only 5'4 and absolutely not very much muscle on my arms at all. I don't let it get in the way of things where I can. But I feel like the drive over option might be a little easier for me?
@ReelAmericanOutdoors
@ReelAmericanOutdoors 5 ай бұрын
@SteelCowGirl4Ever yep the drive over option I think would be the best choice for your situation! It would be less work, too, and those decks are built extremely sturdy. In some old manuals on these from the 70s and 80s, they have mentioned driving over them. Just make sure to secure the deck with a wedge or like the lip of cement on your garage so you're not dragging it.
@SteelCowGirl4Ever
@SteelCowGirl4Ever 5 ай бұрын
@@ReelAmericanOutdoors very good to know! I've got a lot of wheel chocks around my shed. And I can also pick up a few of the little plastic wheel wedges and do everything right in my driveway I think. Im starting to change my mind about buying the other one. I almost have enough money saved up. But it just doesn't make sense to get another tractor and humiliate myself by asking the neighbors if I can keep it on their property since I don't have enough space in my shed. But I just don't feel right about it. I think this is a much better idea. Thanks for the video and the very useful tips!

Interesting topic, thanks for making the video. Both are great for set lines. I would offer a couple of other points between the two: -The iFish Pro requires a bobber stop style loop that can present problems when using a fluorocarbon leader. -The Finicky Fooler hole cover (not included in this video) is significantly more effective than the insulated base on the iFish Pro as it is much more closed off to the elements. -After using the Finicky Fooler many times, I find it to be much easier to set than the iFish Pro. -I use BlueTipz alarms, and find the iFish Pro flag much sturdier and better suited to hold the alarms, but I'll sometimes use tape to make them work on the FF.

It could be a PCM issue! I’m having this same Problem. I also have some speakers not working and the other accessories that should turn off with doors opening are not. All these are PCM module related and expect other things to go bad if not addressed. But this is a fantastic workaround. Thank you hope my info helps a few out there too. I’m also going to run my own speaker wires just so it is never affected by it again
