Very underpowered. I drive a 39 year old MB 190D and I can reach 170km/h with it but it has 11 more hp and a 5th gear.

Der Diesel nagelt wenigstens noch so richtig, ein geiler Klang, den man heute nicht mehr so oft hört. Die Aufnahme war wohl am frühen Morgen um 5 Uhr weil alles so leer war? Und die Leute auf der Brücke, waren das mutmaßliche Steinewerfer?😂

Ja, ich höre ihn auch unwahrscheinlich gerne. Der Klang von Zuverlässigkeit 🙂 und nee nee...die Aufnahmen sind am späten Abend gemacht, kurz vor Sonnenuntergang, während Deutschland sein EM - Spiel hatte😅 ich hatte die Autobahn fast für nich alleine. Und die Leute auf der Brücke...ich habe keeeeine Ahnung 😂 aber die haben ganz nett gewunken und rumgefuchtelt und so, da dachte ich mir ich Hupe mal für sie ☺️

yes, it still works quite well as a daily driver. It is super reliable, economical and very comfortable, you just have to not be in a hurry 😅

Hatte von 1995 - 1997 auch einen 300er, habe ihn dann wegen der hohen Kfz-Steuer weggegeben 😢und mir einen 190D 2.5 gekauft, den ich heute noch habe. 😊

Hey. Gute Frage ^^...der fixe Unterhalt, also Steuern und Versicherung, sind ein Witz. Kraftstoffverbrauch liegt bei um die 7 Liter Diesel, ergo auch im Rahmen. Wartung und Instandhaltung...da ist die Frage was man für Ansprüche hat. In meinem Fall sind es so um die 500 bis 1000 Euro Jährlich die ich in den Wagen investiere. Also grob geschätzt, so genau kann ich das gar nicht sagen muss ich zugeben 🫣 man kann aber sicher ohne weiteres auch das doppelte oder drei fache ausgeben. Kommt eben drauf an wie hoch die eigene Ansprüche sind. In meinem Fall handhabe ich es so das ich die Technik immer versuche im guten Zustand zu haben, und beim Thema Blech versuche ich die absolute Eskalation zu unterbinden. Technisch geht an den Autos auch fast nie was kaputt muss man sagen. Zusammengefasst finde ich für mich dass der w123 Diesel ein wirklich erschwinglicher Oldtimer ist. Ich hoffe ich konnte helfen🙂

uh, a turbo five cylinder. These are really great engines🤩 I wish you a safe journey with your w123. and thanks for the great feedback, that's exactly what I'm aiming for with the videos. The relaxed nature of the vehicle should come across. and yes, the different colored fender 🫣 it bothers some people, but it doesn't bother me at all. The car is 43 years old and that's nice to see 4 me

...the fender is from another w123 that was in this color. the car is over 40 years old, so it doesn't bother me if you can see it in some places😉

Mein geliebtes Quedlinburg, woher die Familie meiner Mutter stammt, eine der schönsten Städte Deutschlands. Der 123er (1984er 240D ?) läuft auch schön. Ich habe vor 30 Jahren zwei 123er Diesel insgesamt 12 Jahre gefahren, super solide Technik, aber die Karosserie leider extrem rostanfällig - ich musste viel schweißen und lackieren.

Jep, ohne jeden Zweifel - Quedlinburg gehört auch für mich zu den schönsten Städten in Deutschland. Es ist ein 200d, auch Wanderdüne genannt😅 Genau wie sie schreiben, technisch ein super solides Auto, wie es kaum ein anderes gibt, aber Rost ist schon ein Thema🫣 Danke auf jeden Fall für den netten Kommentar.

Hallo. Gute Frage^^ ich bin leider noch nie einen mit Automatik gefahren, denke aber das es bei den kleineren Motoren durchaus Sinn macht sie als Handschalter zu fahren. Raketen sind sie aber in beiden Fällen nicht und ich denke die Unterschiede sind wahrscheinlich auch nicht sooo groß🙂
