Not a racer for sure. Did you lighten up the battery holder at all? What battery? Molicel are really good. I'm planning on putting an A30 connector on it so I can run a Lava 550 for power when I want to do a little more than cruise.
@Foremi14 күн бұрын
No I have not lightened up the holder at all. This was with a Sony vtc6 cell, I have some of the molicell 2800’s on the way. I kinda took it easy on these Sony cells for this flight so it does have a bit more performance in it with the right cells. I’m pretty happy with how it flies, it’s something that’s more fun in larger areas than a tiny whoop imo. My only issue with it is that I get pretty poor RF performance from both the avatar vtx and crossfire. Both just get far less range than they should. Idk if the tmotor aio or boosty boi is super noisy maybe. Interestingly, the crossfire is powered by the aio, and only the vtx is powered by the boosty boi so it’s odd both have issues.

the wingman build.. is it too boring? or was it worth it. thinking about buying one.
@Foremi14 күн бұрын
Depends on your expectations. It’s a bit quicker to cruise around with than a meteor65 for example so it’s more fun in larger areas than them… I think the rekon35 that I also did a diy build with is more fun because it has quite a bit more power but is still fairly quiet and flies for 15min easily. The difference is the wingman is far less likely to attract negative attention at a public spot than something as big (lol) as a rekon35. If you have somewhere where that matters then it’s a fun one to have in the fleet.

keep flipping those frames buddy! perhaps looking into some expo to get those flips to initiate faster? and remember... if you are not crashing you are not evolving.
@ForemiАй бұрын
I already fly with a bunch of expo. I prefer the feel and lets me have super high rates to flick the stick when needed but have a slow center stick still
@reyalPRONАй бұрын
@@Foremi looks to me like your initial motion in the flips are quite low. you get much more energy transfer for glide motions that u seek with this moove if u have a higher velocity on the start of the motion. :) physics is cool aint it? keep flipping them quads man. and u gotta crash to push the limits. u would not belive how many frames and parts ive replaced over the ten years of flying :) i get that with the stick movement and rates, but u cant have both worlds of smooth and agile acro. u can always have a two sets of values and assign a two or three position switch to have one control profile and one balls to walls one :)

It's a shame you've had problems with Agency's customer service, that pipe sounds awesome! Also, how did installing that switch panel go?
@Foremi Жыл бұрын
I put the switch pros main unit between the ecu and battery. It’s a tight fit but works. Running the wiring was super easy, and only had to modify the top panel the switch bank is mounted on.

These are technically county “roads” lol. Otherwise I use Gaia mapping alot and Michigan has all of the official orv trails available to download or view on a website.
