That AC was ridiculous. I would ask to be moved to another room. No shame in speaking up if you are a paying customer. I work for a casino brand in Vegas we always reach out to our customers and assist if they bring something like that to our attention.

We completely agree with you! Unfortunately, we arrived late at night for the check-in and didn't want to go through the hassle of changing rooms since it was a short stay. t's great to hear your casino brand prioritizes customer satisfaction. Not sure what your budget is, but there are many street food options along Keo Chenda St to choose from that are the most inexpensive options. For breakfast, there is a cafe on the ground floor next door to the hotel that serves western style breakfast that was good. A couple of great coffee shops are Le Grey Cafe and Fresh Talk Coffee which have great vibes and coffee. The first is indoors and the later is outdoors. The hotel itself has a restaurant at the top floor in the evenings but didn't get to try that so unsure how the food is. The Veata is a popular restaurant on the top floor of the Mekong 1 just a bit south of the hotel that is popular and serves both Khmer and western foods with a great view. Hope this helps. i tried them out yesterday. their food was all bland and dry. i had the fried crabs and they were soaked in oil. i can't recommend this place at all. only their desserts were decent but they weren't made on site.

Hopefully you'll be able to see a variety of places when you're there. Siem Reap's amazing temples to Phnom Penh's hyper development to Kampot's laid back chilled vibes to the beach paradise of Koh Rong, and so many more. We actually have a hotel room tour in BKK1 in Phnom Penh we're working on that we are releasing Tuesday, July 14th, if you're interested. The hotel is Duong Chan, a 4-star hotel. My wife and I were there a week ago and planned to eat there. It was on a Saturday night, the line was extremely long. While waiting, we noticed the posted menu, the prices caught our attention. $56 per person! We ask each other, are you hungry enough to eat $56 worth of food? We shook our heads NO and walked off.🥴

Everything has become very expensive these days. Buffets on the weekend is not only pricey, but busy as you've encountered. Always a wise choice to think if you really need to spend that amount of money, especially if you know you may not eat that amounts worth. Thanks for watching and sharing!

It is definitely on the higher end of the rental spectrum for Cambodia and Siem Reap for that matter. There are many other places that can fulfill the needs of travelers. This place is another spot that gives more choices and variety, especially to those from the west and certain comforts they desire. We're just happy to show what is available and let others make choices that best suits themselves. We're happy to say that the amount of employees they employ there is fantastic and hopefully can continue to support the city. Thanks for sharing!
