Very nice sound. But can we pay attention to the man with the broom? Clearly his first time.😂😂😂

Gorgeous tone! I first heard that tune in the late-1970s and I still get goosebumps whenever I hear it.

Would love to see test repeated dropped lengthwise (ie bell up/down) to see if there is any shunt damage then - though result quite impressive side on.

Think I'll stick with my Kanstul 1525 copper belle flugel and Denis Wick 4L moutpiece. It also sounds great, is so dark I have to turn on the lights and, best of all, it's paid for! 😊

Great information. So would you ever try to play a short piece that you are familiar with? I typically play a Bach 1-1/2 g bass trombone mouthpiece on a Bach 50B2. The 1-1/2 g is okay but it definitely makes you work for anything you can do on the mouthpiece. I've tried several - the Doug Yeo mouthpiece, the Kanstul George Roberts bass trombone mouthpiece, and none seem to be any better than the other, with the exception that on both of the mouthpieces I play more "flat" than I do on the 1-1/2 g.
