So glad I was able to see them! This was actually my first time. I’ll be going down to Furnace Fest in October to see them again before they hang it up.

I saw them the next day and my friend pointed out that Ryan was using a giant cab. Was it super loud here? I noticed how Karl blocks out the sound at 0:14 and then it comes back at 0:30
@buffaloshows8 күн бұрын
It was reasonably loud. One caveat was that I was at the barrier right in front of the cab and the guitar was clearly louder when I took my earplugs out. Some songs the vocals sounded drowned out but it could have been my location. The room speakers were higher than the stage so it wasn’t really balanced at my location, for example when they did the alternating guitar leads into parts of songs.

Bands change over time. Sure some get by without line up changes, but when you start a band as teenagers and tour continuously, some are going to get tired of it. Or sometimes theres a conflict of interest within the band, or creative differences. And despite Mike and Jeremy being the only og members I actually think TDWP have aged incredibly well, especially when compared to other bands from the time. I'll be honest and say that I think they might actually be in their prime now, rather than 18 years ago. Color Decay is a literal masterpiece, and I'm digging the new song. Also thought I would add that even after Dead Throne, they continued to put out really good stuff. 8 18, Space, and especially Transit Blues are all phenomenal and are incredibly underrated. Though I'm glad that they have picked up more momentum with The Act, ZII, and now what I consider their best body of work to date in Color Decay.
