Born in 1954?!?! Damn this Legendary guitarist is in the same league as Rob Lowe, Brad Pitt, & Tom Cruise as far as not aging at all in the good looks department 🤯Makes you wonder if he sold his soul to the devil 👿? Hmmm 🤔

@@FTWjuju yea. He was so happy playing with Kwame Brown and Smush Parker. I'm so happy too. I want them play together for looong long time, maybe get some playoffs run together, playing in a conference finals maybe, or even NBA Finals? But they can't. I don't know why. Dayummmm and they were such a great team. Oh happy days. Why our supreme leader, his royal brickness, Kobrick Brickity Brick Brick can't give glorious golden career for Kwame Brown and Smush Parker tho, i don't even. Oh my god.

Steven was the reason they sounded so rock early on, and didn't after he was out. It wasn't Izzy. Izzy was a big part of it, but Steven was the main reason. The drummer sets the tone for the entire song, and Steve was a madman. Rock drummer to the core. Without that, the band just didn't follow that line, and became more theatrical sounding. Matt was robotic, which really worked for certain songs, making a more industrial sound, but for a bunch of the Use Your Illusion tracks, it was just more about the song writing and depth within that, than it was about rocking out. Musically and artistically great, but for those who like to rock, a bunch of those songs were flat.

Right! Paice Glover and Gillan are the last THREE original members. Why do a bio on someone and not know that?
@cirgoogle9301
@cirgoogle9301 7 күн бұрын
No. Paice is the last one, indeed. The original ones were Ian Paice, Nick Simper, Rod Evans (the latter two, the bass player and the singer), Jon Lord, and Ritchie Blackmore. Glover and Gillan joined the band in 1969 (both came from a band called Episode Six). Before them, Deep Purple had already published three records: "Shades of Deep Purple", "The Book of Taliesyn" (1968), and "Deep Purple" (1969).

@@cirgoogle9301 Thanks. You ARE correct. I had completely forgotten that Mach 1 was the original group AND to make it worse, i have their three, first albums. I still don't really like all of Mach 1s songs. Too many covers. For me, Mach 2 was the real Deep Purple.
