I am a Christian. My parents were the best representation of Christ imaginable. A lot of people will testify to that statement. Mom a minister and teacher. Dad a Bible scholar, teacher and electrical engineer. We never really respected Trump, but voted for him over H. Clinton and B. Obama because our guts told us that he was the right choice both times. Mom & Dad have been gone for five years now. I discussed a lot of things with them about life in the past. I can't quite do that now. I am Praying for wisdom daily. Not on either side politically - Republican or Democrate. Always vote my conscience. I, however, do pull more in Trumps favor due to how I feel that Harris and the Democratic Party have been presenting misleading information and tactics. Also, their forefront platform stance is on "Abortion Rights" not "Right to Life." 😢 What about the concern to prepare to fix our Nation's issues as a whole instead (and yes, I know only God can really straighten things out in the long run)? I have been searching lately for deeper truth. Today, looking thru KZfaq, I came upon your ministry video about Revelation Chaper 13. I feel this is not by chance. I am going to continue to explore the channel content. I, however, don't know if I can vote for either candidate in the 2024 election. I think I'll stick to my beliefs instead and do the best that I'm guided to do while on this earth. ❤-in Christ.

Identifying Nero as the Antichrist requires denying how the book of Revelation says the reign of the Antichrist will end and necessitates a date of authorship that most Bible scholars and early Christian literature reject. And, the book of Revelation puts the defeat of the Antichrist near the end of the prophetic calendar. In the book of Revelation, the Antichrist is defeated at the second coming of Jesus Christ and cast into the lake of fire shortly before the establishment of the millennial reign of Christ (Revelation 19:11-20:6). The only way to make Nero fit as the Antichrist is to allegorize the second coming and the millennium and to remove any semblance of chronology from much of the book of Revelation. That is not the proper way to understand the book of Revelation.

Calling the Catholic belief unique seems like a strange choice of words. If you just mean different than other denominations, yes you’re correct. The"god" of Israel was part of the Canaan pantheon. Brother to baal and son of El. Eventually, Asherah was Yahwehs mate as the israelites absorbed the traits of El into Yahweh and took his mate. Then over time they just started deleting gods and became a henotheistic religion.

@DiscipleDojo Yahweh was given command of the israelites by the God El. The israelites and Judahites eventually adopted him as their nation's god and started following a more henotheistic path until much later when they decided only their God mattered. Rhe israelites did a pretty good job of destroying the evidence in their wars, but there have been temples found with Yahweh sitting beside Asherah. Inscriptions dating 9-8th century BCE mention Yahweh and his asherah, it could mean his consort, wife, literally the goddess Asherah, or a pole representing the goddess asherah. Either way it points either to a mate of Yahweh or the Goddess Asherah.

So, I'm still not sure whether or no you are accrediting any reality to these other gods or their activities; or is that only due to the God of the bible. This, to me, gives, 'Let US make man in OUR image', and, 'Behold, the man has become has become as one of US', a whole new meaning.

We are talking about convicting Noah's wife of sin. The evidence I have seen so for would not get beyond reasonable doubt. Where does "exposes his nakedness" come from as a euphemism? Is it a euphemism? "The two shall become one flesh". Anyone who misuses a married woman exposes her husband's nakedness. Is this the only way to expose someone's nakedness? Someone can't do it on a gym court by jerking someone's shorts down? How many years after the flood did this occur? Canaan is consistently listed as Ham's youngest son, and even if Canaan was a product of insest, it required him to be named on the day he was conceived. How do we know it was Noah's wife who bore Canaan? When was the last time Noah and his wife were together? There is not enough evidence given to justly convict Noah's wife as being druck and uncovered in her tent. This judgment is highly dependent on a "euphemism" written about in the law as being the only way to uncover a man's nakedness. You need to get better evidence. As for the severity of the curse, Ham dishonored his father, an act that would later put a person in danger of the death penalty by the Law of Moses.

When speaking of "thrones" and "resting places", it is important to remember that to Canaanite and proto-hebraic polytheists, God's resided within physical localities. Temples, nations, geological features. To invade those places was to invade that god's power. To lose those locations was,for those gods to lose a, measure of their power. Historically, the Hebrews were never slaves in Egypt, but they were slaves in Babylon. When their temples were burned down and they were removed from their ancestoral lands there was a crisis of faith. Where did their gods reside now? How could their gods be with them? This was a big part of Yahweh taking acsendency over all of their other gods. As a foreign god, he was always seen as not having a physical domain, which was a weakness before. Now, in exile and slavery, it became a strength as he was not bound to those localities that were lost. (This also explains why Hebreww mythology adopted so many Babylonian themes and imagery.)
